Five Four Club Subscription Review & $15 Coupon Code - May 2014 Items

Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories.

My husband has been subscribing for over a year now and in general is very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)

The Subscription Box: Five Four Club

The Cost: $60 a month (includes free shipping)

The Products: The Products: Men’s Clothing customized to your profile valued at over $100

Ships to: US and Canada ($25 surcharge for Canadian orders)

Five Four Club Subscription Review & $15 Coupon Code - May 2014 Sunglasses

Five Four Club Marina Sunglasses - Value $75

These are very nice sunglasses and the case is really heavy duty too - they just aren't my husband's style. (Fortunately I always will take a new pair of shades!)

Five Four Club Subscription Review & $15 Coupon Code - May 2014 Tees

Carson T Shirt - Value $30

Brookstone T Shirt - Value $30

Five Four Club tees are usually made with 100% cotton and make it through the laundry lots of times still looking new, so we've been happy with the quality of their shirts. My husband immediately rejected the v-neck though - only crew necks for him!

Verdict: I think my husband would have liked this month's collection better if the high value item wasn't the accessory, but every item is well-made, and every once in a while it's good to get a basics box! What do you think of the May Five Four Club shipment?

My May box was my second box, I got button down shirt and two v-necks. I’m assuming we are getting different items based on how we answered the survey.

Did anyone else notice they run a little small?

We’ve been subbing for a few months and got a similar box — except my husband’s sunglasses were orange. They went directly up on ebay. He absolutely hated them and I can’t blame him as they are hideous. Why send orange glasses to a guy who’s profile is super conservative and who doesn’t even want printed tshirts or hipster jeans? Regardless, I talked him into one more month but if it continues on the $75 orange sunglasses theme, he probably won’t stick around much longer.

This was my husbands first month and he got the same box, except a button up instead of sunglasses. He was super underwhelmed and disappointed. There is nothing exciting about black and white cotton T’s. He has a bajillion that are just as soft from target that we got for cheap. He just wears them as undershirts.
