Just got my Mother’s Day box today! And its fantastic! It comes with a full size bottle of Caldrea Body Lotion (mine is Tea Olive Lime) $22 for 8 fl oz; a full size Bellapierre mineral lipstick in Envy – which is a nude pink shade that enhances your natural lip color (very pretty and moisturizing) – $20; the full size Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer ($22); a full size Modelco Fibre lash extend mascara ($24); a travel size of the Pureology Fresh Approach Dry Condition spray (1.3 oz- full size is 4.3 oz for $24, which I got in the Allure Summer box); and the Skin Inc. serum full size for $135. The box was very pretty and would have been fine to present as a Mother’s Day gift on its own. Although I do have a small complaint, the black shredded paper they use to pack the goods left lots of dust and debris on the box and all over the products. I did not like that – it looked like dirt. I think I must have gotten the bottom of the packing material. Overall, I am extremely happy with the box and glad I got it.

I’m looking forward to this box very much. It’s my mother’s day to myself. Unfortunately, I think you are in the minority in receiving the box on time. I would be angry if this was an actual gift that I planned to give tomorrow. I’m just a little annoyed they didn’t honor their timeline.

So, I ordered this box almost a month ago. I received tracking on it a couple of days ago and UPS returned the box to the sender because it contained “hazardous material” and can not ship via 2-day air. WHY does Glossybox wait until the last minute to ship everything? They had over a month to ship me this $40 box and now it’s not even going to arrive by Mother’s Day. What a fail on the part of Glossybox. Total fail. They only offered me an apology and nothing else. What a joke of a company.

My tracking says estimated delivery “05/13/14-05/15/14”. Funny, someone on facebook posted that it should arrive in time for Father’s day a couple weeks ago, glossybox was sure to state that all boxes would arrived by 5/11. I guess that’s not true. Luckily it’s for me, but I was still hoping to have it by now.

WOW! The 2nd spoiler sealed the deal for this tightwad….I can’t wait to try the brightening serum and the blow-dry prep will save me time in the mornings. Totally worth $40 just for those two!

I bought one but just noticed something weird. The value of the box is $230, and we already know 2 products, the redken $23, and the Skininc Serum $177, so that means the other 4 products not known yet are only worth $30 combined? Maybe they will be samples or somthing? I am just praying no more nail polish!

Glossybox said the redken will be full size and serum will be 1 fl. oz. but is a custom blend of three serums for our subscribers so it is available only through GLOSSYBOX…so maybe a lower end serum than what is on the website.

Maybe not all the products are full size? I don’t recall seeing they were all full size but I could be wrong.

Does anyone know if there will be a coupon code for this one? My hairstylist gave me a sample of the pillow proof and I’m almost out. Smells really good and is supposed to prevent breakage when brushing out wet hair.

I’ve been wanting to try glossybox. I can’t tell though if the price will continue to be 15% off, or will it go back to $21 after my first month? Also, is it normal to have the order continue to say “pending” under the account?

It will revert back to the normal price after the first month. That’s how it works with pretty much every monthly beauty sub. It says pending until it ships. That’s normal.
