Adore Me Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Set

Adore Me is a monthly intimates subscription service like JustFab, FabKids or Jewelmint. Each month for the VIP subscription price of $39.95 you get to pick out a lingerie, sleepwear, or swimwear set. You also can skip any month you want.

I've really been enjoying the Wantable Intimates subscription, so I thought it was time to try out Adore Me!

For my set this month I picked the Marcella sleepwear set. ($39.95 with VIP subscription or $49.95 with regular pricing).

(If you look at their site you'll see that this is the most conservative set they offer! 🙂

The material is super soft, and this is a pajama set that manages to be both flattering and comfortable - amazing! (FYI - I put this set through the laundry before I wore it, and it shrunk a little bit, but still fits well. I'm a large size at both Adore Me, Fabletics and Golden Tote if that helps!)

Verdict: For $39.95 I'm very impressed with the quality of this pajama set! (And now I can't wait to try out their swimwear!) Have you tried Adore Me before? What do you think of their pieces?

Hey, in regards to the comments about the relabeled products. I read some reviews on LingerieAddict.com and she actually had an interview and tour of their main office.

I guess when they were starting out, they were relabling products until they could become well established and make enough overhead to be able to start producing their own line.

Now all of the lingerie is designed by an in house designer that used to design for VS. The quality is phenomenal and the bras are super comfy and beautiful. Each month the they have new colors and styles and they usually have some sort of freebie if you enter the code at checkout.

I have so far gotten two months worth of lingerie, and I couldn’t be happier with sizing and service.

Has anyone had an Adore Me order shipped to a Canadian address? If so, was it UPS that delivered it? And did you get hit with big customs/brokerage fees upon delivery?

I’ve had nightmare situations with UPS before. Please share your experience!

I live in Canada. My package got held at the post office until I went there to pay the custom fee. It was 36$ which made the order a little less with it for me.

I also tried adore me based on this and previous reviews. I am disappointed, not due to customer service or the quality/look of each piece, but because no matter how many times I exchanged my order during this month, I was unable to find a size that worked for me. I even ordered sizes that normally are WAY to huge on me. Needless to say, this subscription is not for me, and as soon as I receive my refund for what I paid originally I will cancel so I don’t get charged any more.

I just wanted to share my experience with all of you. Based on this review, I ordered multiple items from the site. I received the items thrown in a bag and not even nicely wrapped. None of the items were even in plastic. I also received the wrong items. I contacted customer service and they were horrid!! No apologies other than “it was a warehouse mistake.” First, they told me to take a picture of the item. Then they said never mind, you need to create an exchange, return the item, and then wait one week at a minimum to place an order for the correct item. What??? Really?? I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told she doesn’t intend to call me back today. She has 1-3 business days to return my call. So much for customer service! While the items look nice on the website, you are better off going elsewhere.

I wanted to update my comment. Adore Me called me concerning the awful customer service I received and went above and beyond to make it right. I was very impressed with their sincerity and their concern over the treatment I received by one of their employees. They corrected the misinformation I received and assisted me with the exchange process. They truly treated me like a valued customer. I did exchange one of the items I received and it was very easy. I received the new product properly packaged and was pleased with the quality. I will certainly give them a second chance. 🙂

I just signed up through your link, and it popped up an offer to get the first set for 24.95! I had to rub and see if they still had the set you got – I LOVE that, and thank goodness they did 🙂

I am following your blog for a while now and I must say I love it!
I have tried the adore me , the best part is unlimited exchanges till you find what you like ..I own 3 pairs of lingering from them. I won’t say its an amazing quality because for lesser price I found better variety and quality at Aerie. The customer service at Adore me is great. A few times I forgot to skip the month and they have me money back without a hassle. My only concern is that it’s not the quality you can get for the price you pay…. I mean, they have to make a profit over the sale, and offer unlimited exchanges and $39 won’t allow the quality within that price budget. Overall I won’t call it great, but it’s worth trying !!

I’m a lingerie freak so of course I was excited to hear about Adore Me a while back. However, when I started going through their products, I noticed some of the bras were exact copies of some of the bras sold by the brand Parfait by Affinitas, and probably some other popular brands. I can’t name them all, but some designs are just painstakingly similar if you do your research.

The Cassandra Countour floral print bra is also known as the Parfait Affinitas Odette Wire Bra, which I own! The Ophelia Contour is also an exact copy of Parfait’s Danielle Longline. The Pria Contour is easily recognized as Parfait’s Honey Bra. (All of these can be found in the Plus Size, DD+ section). To me, it looks like Adore Me is reselling other brands lingerie under a different name. That doesn’t make me feel good at all.

At least give credit to where credit is due with permission, or don’t blatantly plagiarize other company’s products and come up with your own designs instead.

If anyone can clarify if what they’re doing is legal, so I would feel better about Adore Me, that would be greatly appreciated.

hi, its absolutely legal, it’s relabeling and everyone does it. the companies that are being relabeled already know that’s happening and are sometimes the ones sewing the new labels in! HM and Forever 21 do it! 😛

I’m glad you mentioned this, because I did a quick search for some of their lingerie and found exact copies for at least two of them, and then were way cheaper than advertised on Adore Me – about $20-22. That was enough to turn me away. The lack of honesty is a huge turn-off, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re jacking up the prices on the other lingerie items too and slapping their own label there.

Some days I wish I had never discovered subscription boxes. Its a sickness, I tell ya! Haha 😉 I just signed up with your link… Got myself a pretty corset!
They have nice looking items and the prices seem really great. (especially compared to V.S.!)

Haha – it definitely is a wonderful sickness/addiction! 🙂 And I agree about the prices compared to VS – hopefully the quality stacks up too. Based on the one set I bought so far I’d say it does, but I’m curious to hear about the corset quality – keep me posted! 🙂

I’ll definitely report back 🙂

Thanks Liz,
I went to their site and found cute bra and panties for a steal. I have big bobbies that I spend a lot to house. Their sets are a steal, can’t wait to test quality. Another great find to thank you for!

Lovely, never heard of this box. I am trying out Wantable now and seeing how it goes. If they give me grief. Lol. I might need to turn to adore me. I can only do one or the other!
