Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – Feb 2014

Just ordered my box I can’t wait!

I just got my first box and am already wearing what was inside. C:

I got the Knot Front All Over Lace Chemise in Plum, which is what I’m wearing now and it’s super comfortable. I’m a pretty busty girl with a thin frame so it’s not like the chemise covers and supports everything, but it looks really good on and it’s very comfortable. It’s definitely one of those effortless but sexy couch potato pieces. I also got the Betsey Johnson Houndstooth shorts, which I’m not surprised about because I’ve seen them in almost every single review. I like them anyways. I also got ankle socks in apricot, which are very soft.

The only thing that was a buzzkill were the Hidden Beauty Hipsters in Nile Blue. They are SO CUTE but SO SMALL. I always wear a size Small in underwear but these fit like an XXS. We’re talking quad-booty, ladies. I sent an email and I hope they’ll get back to me with a size exchange, because I honestly love them as well but would just like a bigger size. 🙂

I have been wanting this one for a while, and since I am losing weight, figured it would be a good way to pick up some nice basic pieces. I tried looking online for reviews from plus size women, and couldn’t find any. They size to a 2XL which is a 20. In my box I got the Rhonda Sheer bra, which was a no go, a pair of brown leggings (ewww, brown leggings?), and a slim fit tee shirt. I was disappointed, because it seemed like other boxes I saw for February were cute or had some sexy element, and I got brown leggings. Plus, I put tanks as a dislike, because I knew they would not fit, so why would they send a slim fit tee shirt? A cami (love), or a cami topped night shirt would have been a better option. So next month I am hoping for some nice slippers and something cute. Otherwise, I might wait until I reach a more mainstream size.

Received my Wantable Intimates box yesterday. This is my third month, and I am still waiting to get something that I love. The first month was a mess, got items that were on my dislike list as well as one of the items not being what was supposed to be included and not even the right size. Last month was okay, but nothing blew me away. This month I got a Rhonda Shear shelf tank (nude) that I think will be a good staple item. The other item that I will probably make use of is a Wantable bandeau bra, but it is the exact same item, just different color, that I have already gotten. The other two items I am unlikely to use. The first is a set of Icy Hot invisible straps, and I don’t think I own any bras with removable straps to be able to use them. The item I am the most disappointed with though is the Betsey Johnson sleep shorts in houndstooth. They run WAY small and I will never wear them. I looked them up online and found that Nordstrom specifically tells people to order a size up because they run small. I wish that Wantable was aware of how items run and would ship sizes accordingly. Contacted them to see if I can’t return that item and will see.

Love my first intimate box! I received a bra bandeau that is grey and black horizontal stripes by Wantables. Sleeping shorts by Betsey Jphnson. Semi slip/bra shapewear, and 3 hearts for expanding bra straps. Love my first box!

My latest box was totally different from yours, but equally good. I made some adjustments to my preferences and Wantable did a great job choosing things I love.

I loved my box this month. I got the the same Muk Luk slipper socks you did, Betsy Johnson sleeper shorts, some pretty lace-trimmed panties and a pair of dark blue tights. I’ll wear everything, although the sleeper shorts might have to wait until Spring.

My daughter is home wearing her leggings that are very warm and super nice quality! She loves her intimates box and so does my daughter in law!

As usual, I LOVED my box! I got the same Betsey Johnson sleep set, another cute pair of thigh highs (the Kix’ies are fast becoming my go to hosiery because they are comfortable, well made, and stay up the last being the most important attribute), a fabulous piece of shapewear (thigh length shorts with a thin lace waist detail; stayed in place, no waist rolling when I sit down and super smoothing!), AND a pair of fuzzy socks. I can’t get enough of them. Hubby says my feet are hooves since I wear through socks like a maniac (he’s such a sweet talker, isn’t he?). So far I haven’t worn through any of my Wantables box socks and that’s impressive enough for me to stay subbed forever, lol!

I am so jealous of your box. I have subscribed for two months, sent the first month’s box back and will return this one as well. First, I just got my box today like a full two weeks after most people seemed to have received theirs. Then I got none of the brands that were listed for this month. I was so excited for muk luk boot socks or aloe socks or the adorable slips I’ve been seeing. Nope. I got the houndstooth Betsy Johnson sleep shorts everyone got months ago. It’s February, I don’t want sleep shorts. Then I got the on gossamer striped boy shorts, fine but not wow. I got some navy blue tights that are too thin and too blue and then, the worst, some white cotton knee high socks. I don’t know why wantable apparently hates me but I’m definitely canceling.

I love what you get in these boxes! I think I need to tweak my settings. Would you mind posting a screenshot of your “loves, likes, dislikes” associated with your wantables boxes? I think it helps to know which categories people select.

Also, I sent you an email regarding the swaps section… I know your busy, but just wanted to make sure it was received. Can you please let me know if I need to resend it? Thanks for everything!!

I LOVE that Cami Set!! I had to skip this month – just no room in the budget 🙁 But with my tax refund on it’s way I will be able to get it next month!!

This is definitely my new favorite subscription! I got the same aloe socks you got, but everything else was different. I got a Rhonda Shear soft Ah Bra, which apparently gets rave reviews. After getting one soft bra, though, I’m going to dislike them, since I really only need one or two because I don’t plan on wearing it out of the house. I also got Rhonda Shear soft lounge pants, which are so unbelievably soft, but are really thin so I may save them for spring when it’s not so cold. And I got a pair of black lace panties with a little heart charm on the front, which was my least favorite item since I think it looks a little cheap, but I guess it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day.

I am always so jealous of what you get. My boxes are never even close to being as good.
