GLOSSYBOX Review USA - March 2013 - Makeup Subscription Boxes

GLOSSYBOX is one of my favorite beauty subscription boxes because the products are almost always full or deluxe size. The March box has three full size and two deluxe size items!

GLOSSYBOX Review USA - March 2013 - Makeup Subscription Boxes

The Box: GLOSSYBOX

The Cost: $21 a month (save more with 3-month, 6-month or annual subscription!)

The Products: Deluxe and full size beauty products.

GLOSSYBOX Review USA - March 2013 - Makeup Subscription Boxes

MODEL co Cheek + Lip Tint in Rosy Red - FULL SIZE! Value $24

This goes on very sheer and is build-able - also the color is not as Barbie pink as the packaging!

Ken Gen Do Cosmetics Oriental Plants Emollient Cream - .28 oz  Value $32.50

Prestiche Essential Oil Bar Soap in Indie Dreaming - FULL SIZE! Value $16.99

This soap also came with a $40 coupon code to use at Prestiche's website. I was happy to see that there was no minimum purchase required (it made a $39.99 item free) but you still have to pay $12 shipping.

Sebastian Professional Shaper Fierce Ultra Firm Finishing Spray - 1.5 oz Value $2.40

Elite Models MATT Liner - FULL SIZE! Value $15

For some reason, I have managed to only get black eyeliners in subscription boxes (or sometimes bright in-your-face colors that I can't pull off) so it may be hard to believe, but I was thrilled to finally get a brown eyeliner in a subscription box!

Verdict: Wow! This box was worth over $90 - I'm thrilled! What did you think of the March GLOSSYBOX?

They didn’t send me a few items in the first March box, so I got the 2nd box with the full amount of items + this amazing pixi lip tint that is a Disney “Pixi” lip tint. My 5yr old saw tinkerbell and was sooo excited. Glossybox really came through this time.

My glossybox didn’t include the Ken Gen Do cream, and didn’t have it listed on the card inside the box..

This was my first box and I was very happy with it. My box was the same as yours and I was also happy to get a brown eyeliner. I also received the free OPI polish which was a plus. I am in love with your blog!!

This was my first time receiving the box and I’m actually pretty content with what I received! three of the items i received were full size, and one of them was definitely deluxe. impressed 🙂

I mostly liked this box. I got everything you got, except my eyeliner was a shimmery charcoal pencil. I love the pencil and I’m excited to try the cheek tint, but I’m a little disappointed that the tube appears to be mostly air. I’ll probably put the soap in the guest bathroom and the hairspray in my travel bag, but I’m not terribly excited about either one. I’m excited to try the lotion, but I couldn’t believe the price of the full size. Almost makes me not want to try it because I will absolutely not buy it even if I love it.

I got exactly the same box as you, Liz, except my soap was eucalyptus scented and the oils had already gone rancid so it smells awful. It makes sense though, since there aren’t preservatives in this soap (which is awesome) that it would go bad really quickly. Unfortunately, the soap isn’t full size, they just used the same label they use for their full size soap on the sample size. I weighed it and it was about 77grams, the full size is 125, so that would change the final value of the Glossybox. I’m impressed with the value of the Koh Gen Do lotion sample for sure, but it has to be used quickly since it’s in a jar, so I wouldn’t buy the full size even if I had the money to burn.

I just got my Glossybox today. I got all the same items with one exception: my eyeliner was a brown pencil, not liquid. I’m looking forward to trying the Ken Gen Do cream!

This looks like the best glossy box in a couple months! I’m glad I signed up just in time and this will be my first one 🙂

To be honest, I’m a little irritated at glossybox. Seems like a lot of people have already received their boxes, but mine hasn’t even shipped yet.

Mine never usually comes until the first-second week of the FOLLOWING month. For example, my “February” box didn’t come until March 7th. This was actually the very first month mine arrived within the same month of the actual box…. which was completely awesome because I absolutely LOVED this box!! The value was huge and I will put all the products to great use, not to mention the $40 gift certificate!! :]

Mine hasn’t shipped yet either but I did receive my OPI nailpolish.
