Lululemon is definitely one of the top names in activewear.

Our team especially liked the Pace Breaker and License to Train for shorts. The fabrics felt high-quality, and performance during workouts was consistently strong.

That said, the higher price point made it harder to justify buying multiple pieces compared to some competitors. Plus, the fabric did feel a bit heavier compared to others so on occasion we experienced some chafing during longer runs.

3. Alo: The Trendy Option

Alo stood out for its stylish, elevated approach to activewear.

The Circuit and Repetition collections were particularly popular with our editors thanks to their sleek appearance and polished feel. Alo easily transitioned from gym sessions to out running errands without missing a beat.

Where it lost a few points was value, as many pieces came with premium price tags but we did not feel the quality held up to the high price point.

4. Vuori: The Comfort Specialist

If comfort is your top priority, Vuori deserves attention.

The Kore collection quickly became favorites for work-from-home days, walking, travel, and low-impact activities. The fabrics felt incredibly soft and easy to wear for hours.

We found they had great basics, but performance in the gym was only ok and they didn't have much beyond basics.

5. Nike: The Workout Classic

Nike delivered exactly what many of us expected: dependable athletic performance.

The brand excelled during training sessions, cardio workouts, and gym days. Its extensive selection also made it easy to find options for different sports and activities.

While Nike performed well, some editors felt the pieces leaned more athletic than lifestyle-oriented. We did find it a bit hard to shop given the sheer volume of items they have.

After three months of testing six major activewear brands, Fabletics came out on top.

Every brand on this list had strengths. Lululemon impressed us with performance. Alo excelled in style. Vuori delivered exceptional comfort. Nike and adidas remained dependable athletic staples.

But Fabletics was the only brand that consistently checked every box.

Josh captured the conclusion best: "When we looked back at what we actually wore most often during the test, Fabletics kept showing up."

It offered the best combination of comfort, style, versatility, performance, and value, making it the activewear brand our team kept returning to throughout the test.
