I’m a sucker for a cute, trendy top from ZARA, and I'll admit that younger me was obsessed with Delia’s, Gap, Wet Seal, and Justice. Fast fashion has a chokehold on everyone, but it’s no secret that the low-quality materials, synthetic dyes, and disposable nature are terrible for the environment.
Embracing sustainability is one of my main goals in 2024, and I’m so excited to share an absolute game-changer: Armoire clothing rental.
Here are 5 reasons why Armoire far outshines trendy retail stores:
1. Get a personalized closet in 5 minutes or less
Signing up for Armoire is painless, and honestly? It’s pretty fun, too. I filled out a 5-minute style quiz, and Armoire’s personal stylists + AI curate a personalized closet! So, even though they have 75,000+ styles from top designers, you don’t have to sort through them manually like other rental services.
I love that my Armoire closet lets me sort by occasion, weather, and category (i.e. dresses, pants, athleisure, etc). I specifically wanted to switch up my tops, and my closet showed me options I could either dislike or favorite. I selected what I wanted, and it shipped right to me. On the 7-item plan, I have 30 days to swap.
Not only is Armoire less time-intensive than online window shopping or shuffling through racks of clothing at the mall, but your pieces always feel current–no effort involved.
2. Say goodbye to a bulky wardrobe full of clothes you never wear
Would you rather have a capsule wardrobe with 10 outfits you love, or 40 pieces you never touch? Armoire helps me build a closet I truly–genuinely–love.
The capsule wardrobe people are onto something…less really is more! It's huge contrast to the pile of fast fashion pieces I don't wear.
There were a few pieces I just couldn’t part with, so I was delighted to find that Armoire lets me purchase my favorites at discounted, members-only prices. I can’t tell you how much money this has saved me, not only because I’m putting more thought into what I buy, but also because the prices are just that good.
3. Armoire has flexible plans for every budget and occasion
Armoire caters to everyone with diverse plan options. For a weekend vibe or special occasions, there's the 4-item plan at $89/month–4 items, 1 case monthly. Step up to the 7-item plan, which costs $119/month ($99/first month).
My top pick? The Unlimited Plan, which costs $249/month ($139/first month). I can rent 6 items per case and swap items as often as I want. Free shipping, free returns, and the ability to cancel anytime sealed the deal for me.
4. Revamp your style with all the current trends
Wearing the same things can get boring fast, but keeping up with trends requires constant buying–it’s costly and really unsustainable.
Armoire’s personal stylists and algorithm are constantly optimizing to keep up with my favorite trends, so I’m never bored.
More than that, I stopped wearing the same clothes as everyone else–my style is uniquely mine. I see you, ZARA and Amazon...
5. Armoire offers free cleaning and minor damages coverage
Who likes doing laundry? Not me! There’s nothing worse than getting a new top, only to have it wear out in just a couple of washes, or stain it beyond repair. One of my favorite things about Armoire is that they take care of all laundry and minor damages. Whew!
Armoire’s clothes are top-quality and meant to be worn over and over. I feel SO much better knowing I’m not clogging up landfills!
Thanks to Armoire, I’m ditching fast fashion for good
H&M, ZARA, even Delia’s (IYKYK): you served your purpose, but I’m making a full, guilt-free transition to my new favorite styling service: Armoire. They’re all about sustainability, their clothes are top quality, and it’s affordable. What’s not to like? Armoire is living proof that fashion can be cool and conscious at the same time!
