Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. For $14 per month, you get five full-sized or deluxe-sized products, plus a cute makeup bag.
This is one of our top recommendations if you are looking for a subscription box — the value and sample sizes are amazing. Just like Birchbox, Ipsy sends out many different variations of their bag each month — so this review is for just one of the bag variations you might receive!

First Impressions
One of my favorite things about the Ipsy Glam Bag is the excitement of discovering each month’s new bag design. I’ve been a subscriber for years, and the fun, creative designs—along with the awesome products—keep me coming back for more. To celebrate the arrival of May, we received a beautiful blue and cream floral bag, complete with a navy zipper tassel. It was ultra cute!
Also included is a product card featuring the "Born to Bloom" theme, details about this month's bag contents, and a sneak peek at the upcoming "Best of K-Beauty" highlights!
Now, on to the items!
ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm - Estimated Value $12.00
The first item I received was a largish container of Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm. This cleansing balm is a total game-changer in my skincare routine! It starts as a rich balm, then melts into an oil before turning into a silky, hydrating milk—so satisfying to use. I love how effortlessly it removes all my makeup and leaves my skin feeling soft, clean, and nourished. Just a small amount goes a long way, and the whole experience feels like a mini facial. It’s quickly become a must-have in my nightly wind-down.
ELIZABETH MOTT - Sure Thing! Vitamin C Eye Cream - Deluxe Mini - Estimated Value $5.33
As I get older, I’ve been trying to incorporate as many skincare creams as I can. That’s why I was excited to receive the Elizabeth Mott Vitamin C Eye Cream in this month’s bag. It’s lightweight, has a slight tint that blended perfectly with my skin tone, and felt like I was wearing nothing at all. Packed with niacinamide, peptides, vitamins B, C, and E, plus fermented postbiotics, it targets discoloration, smooths fine lines, and nourishes the skin for a radiant, well-rested glow—exactly what I need as I wrap up my 30s! So far, I’m really impressed and feel like I’m already starting to see subtle results after just a few uses.
EVA NYC - Mane Magic 10-in-1 Hair Primer - Travel Size - Estimated Value $5.62
The Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer has quickly become a staple in my hair routine! It helps fight frizz, cuts down on drying time, and leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth, and shiny. I love that it also protects against heat and UV damage—perfect for daily styling. The scent is absolutely amazing and makes applying it on freshly washed hair feel like a little treat. Overall, it's a super convenient, do-it-all product that I'm so glad to have on hand!
PRETTY VULGAR - Cool AF Lava Water Foundation in Nudie Pie - Deluxe Mini - Estimated Value $2.00
The next item I received was a deluxe mini foundation. I enjoy trying out new foundations, and while the formula was nice and the coverage buildable, the shade was just a bit too dark for my winter skin. I’m hopeful it will match better once I get a bit of a summer tan, so it’s not a total loss. That said, I do wish I had received a shade I could use right now.
SERAPHINE BOTANICALS Marshmallow Blush in Pink Caramel - FULL SIZE - Estimated Value $28.00
The last item I received was a large pan of blush—and it was my choice item, so I was thrilled to get it! The embossed pink shade is absolutely beautiful and wears really well throughout the day. It’s a bit deeper and brighter than the blush tones I usually go for, but it ended up complementing my skin tone perfectly and gave me a lovely rosy glow. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. This one was definitely a win!

Here you can see all of this month’s products put to use. I’ve been using the primer daily and am really loving the results. The cleanser has also become part of my everyday routine, and it’s been great for my skin. I’ve been mixing my current foundation with the one included in the bag—it’s still a little dark, but I really like the formula. My favorite product, though, has to be the blush—it gives me that fresh spring glow I’ve been aiming for!
Verdict
I love Ipsy Glam Bag and am always excited to try out new beauty products. While I have brands that I adore, I am always up for the option to try something new! This month I received five fun items that worked pretty well for me. My favorites being the blush, hair serum, and cleansing balm. For $14, I was able to try some new skincare and makeup brands, and have been treated to an ultimate skin makeover! What do you think will be in store for the June curation? I can't wait to see!
