As a busy mom, I’ve taken my fair share of workout classes. I’d find one I loved, squeeze it into my schedule for a while, try another when the timing stopped working, and keep bouncing around hoping I was doing enough to actually see a difference.
I was working out, but I didn’t feel like I was following a plan. And eventually, I realized there was a big difference between getting a workout in and consistently working toward a goal.
That’s what changed when I found Studio Era. Instead of treating every workout like a standalone class, I finally had a structured strength-training program, nutrition guidance, and a community keeping me accountable.
Here’s why Studio Era became the workout I actually stuck with and where I started to see the difference.
1. Structure and Guidance on What to Do
With individual workout classes, I was choosing whatever fit my schedule that week. One day I might take a strength class, another day something completely different. I was moving my body, but there wasn’t necessarily a bigger plan connecting those workouts.
A class could also be challenging and leave me feeling accomplished, but the next class wasn’t always building on what I had done before. I was exercising consistently without necessarily knowing whether I was moving toward a specific goal.
Studio Era feels much more intentional. The programs are designed around building strength and muscle over time, and the app includes tools for tracking workouts, nutrition, and progress. Instead of judging a workout by how exhausted I am afterward, I can pay attention to how I’m getting stronger over time.
I can choose a structured three-, four-, or five-day-a-week strength program and follow it from there. I know what I’m doing each week and can focus on getting stronger instead of constantly deciding which class to take next. Now, I actually feel stronger, more confident in myself and my workouts, and like I can keep up with my kids without feeling exhausted.
Nutrition was another missing piece for me. A workout class might give me a great sweat, but it doesn’t necessarily tell me how to support the work I’m putting in once I leave. Studio Era includes high-protein meal plans and recipes, which helped me think about my routine more holistically. When my goal is building muscle and seeing visible progress from strength training, what I do outside the workout matters too.

2. Community and Accountability

One thing I’ve always loved about workout classes is the community. There’s something motivating about walking into a room full of people who showed up for the same reason you did. The energy can push me to work harder, and seeing familiar faces makes exercising feel more social and fun.
Studio Era gives me that same sense of connection, just in a different way. There’s a genuine community of women working toward their goals together, and I’ve actually made friends through it. Because we’re following programs and sharing our progress beyond a single class, that connection also gives me an added layer of accountability. Seeing other women continue to show up makes me want to keep showing up too.
For me, both make fitness feel less like something I’m doing alone. Workout classes give me that motivating in-person energy, while Studio Era gives me an ongoing community that helps me stay accountable between workouts.

3. The Personal Experience
Another challenge with workout classes? Finding an instructor I genuinely connect with and then actually getting into their classes.
I’ve bounced between instructors, schedules, and classes based on what was available, sometimes joining waitlists and hoping a spot opened up. Even when I found an instructor I liked, there was no guarantee their schedule would consistently work with mine.
With Studio Era, I’ve been able to build that sense of trust with founder Maddie. Her presence throughout the workouts makes the experience feel personal and familiar. I know who I’m showing up to work out with, and I trust the approach I’m following.
It doesn’t feel like I’m chasing the next class or instructor. It feels like I’ve found someone I actually want to keep training with. I also feel pushed (in a good way) to go harder and lift heavier. Yes, general praise in a workout class is nice, but Maddie makes you feel seen and like you can truly go to the next level.

5. The Workout I Actually Stuck With

Ultimately, results require consistency—and this is where Studio Era made the biggest difference for me.
As a busy mom, I can’t build my life around class schedules, waitlists, or trying to figure out what workout I should do next. Studio Era lets me train at home with minimal equipment, follow a program that fits my schedule, and use modifications when I need them.
More importantly, it gives me a reason to keep coming back. Between the structured programming, nutrition support, Maddie’s guidance, and the women I’ve connected with in the community, I finally feel like all the pieces are working together.

The Difference Was Having a Plan
Workout classes got me moving. Studio Era gave me a plan I could actually follow long enough to see progress.
Instead of piecing together random workouts and hoping they add up to results, I’m strength training with intention, paying more attention to nutrition, tracking my progress, and staying accountable to a community.
For me, that’s what finally made the difference—and why Studio Era is the workout I actually stuck with.
I’ve been recommending it to all the women in my life because it’s made that much of a difference.
So, what are you waiting for? Try it and see why I and so many other women love it!
