I bought a 6 month subscription this year (2021, summer/fall) and have been terribly disappointed. The recipes have not been great - the campfire set was super salty (like, inedible as written). One box included a recipe for deep fried donuts - I don't deep fry things; there's NO WAY I'm letting my kid do so; definitely not appropriate for "ages 4 and up" as their website claims. My most recent box came with the wrong magazine (one from several months ago) and a spoon rest as the "special equipment". I originally subscribed because the box was supposed to come with a card game - they appear to have discontinued that. I got the cards in my first box and no more. Three questionable recipes, a tiny magazine and a generally useless piece of equipment is not worth the $20 a box they're charging.
