Four Reasons Why I’m Breaking Up With My Household Chemical Cleaning Products

Sorry, but we're over.

Dear household chemical cleaning products,

I’ll be honest, it’s not me… it’s definitely YOU! Were you really not going to tell me that cleaning supplies aren't required to list ingredients on their labels? Or that many conventional products contain toxins that can pose serious health risks, including hormone disruption and fertility issues, cancer, birth defects, and respiratory issues? I like that you kill germs, but I definitely don't want harmful chemicals around my kids. 🚩🚩

Things haven’t been the same between us, so I’m ditching you for Force of Nature. At first, I didn’t believe that a cleaner that started with water, salt, and vinegar could be as strong as bleach. Fast-forward to a squeaky-clean home, and I’m SO glad I tried it.

There’s no easy way to say this, but we’re done. Here's why:

1. I hated having to use harsh chemicals to get a spotless, disinfected home

Force of Nature is completely toxin-free, but it’s bleach-strength! It’s a little appliance that turns salt, water and vinegar into a cleaner and EPA-registered disinfectant that kills 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and mildew when used correctly. Not only that, it's:

  • a hospital-grade disinfectant
  • kills respiratory and flu-causing viruses
  • approved for use against COVID-19
  • no added fragrances, dyes, preservatives or surfactants

Win-win-win! Now, I can use this cleaner all around my house - in the kitchen, on my kid's toys - with zero stress that I'm leaving any harmful chemicals behind.

2. I spent way too much money on cleaning products

It always surprises me how expensive cleaning products can get, especially if they’re labeled as “natural” or you’re buying for various surfaces. When I found Force of Nature, I couldn’t believe that it would actually save me money: You can save up to 80% per ounce vs. some of the conventional brands!

The cost for Force of Nature’s all-in-one cleaner is 10¢ per ounce, plus free shipping. They're even offering a HUGE 40% off sale on bundles right now (talk about a great first impression)!

3. I was sick of buying cleaners for every room in my house

I don’t know about you, but I was sick of buying a billion different-use cleaners for every room and surface in my house. I love that Force of Nature is powerful enough to replace bleach, kitchen, glass, bathroom cleaners, deodorizers & more!

4. I threw away so many non-reusable, plastic cleaner bottles

All the other cleaners I’ve been using come in one-time-use plastic bottles that I end up tossing every few weeks, and it feels incredibly wasteful.

Thanks to Force of Nature’s reusable spray bottle, I haven’t thrown away a single-use plastic cleaner since I got it 3 months ago. It’s also Green Seal Certified and Carbon Neutral, which makes me feel even better about helping the environment. Bonus: activating the solution with the electrolyzer is like a fun science experiment!

Sorry, chemical cleaners, but Force of Nature stole my heart

After switching to Force of Nature, I’m no longer risking my family’s health, no longer wasting money, and no longer contributing to so much plastic waste. We’re getting serious—AKA, I subscribe & save 17% on Activator Capsules, plus free shipping—and it’s the healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in.

Amicably (kind of),
Gwen
