First Impressions
Life is better with a little magic. - Vellabox
October is one of my favorite months. The weather starts to change, and the fall colors are just so darn pretty. That being said, Minnesota’s weather didn’t get the memo—it’s supposed to be 81 degrees for my son’s football tournament. Blah!! While I’m ready to cozy up and settle in, Mother Nature doesn’t seem quite as ready.

This month’s candle captured fall perfectly. Nothing says October quite like pumpkins and baked goods, and this candle smelled just like a pumpkin croissant! The warm, inviting scent made me think of a cozy bakery on a crisp autumn morning, with something delicious baking in the oven. It was the perfect scent to enjoy while settling in after a busy day.
The presentation was just as lovely as the fragrance. Poured into the prettiest jar with a chic label, this candle looked right at home on my shelf alongside my October decor. I love when a candle adds a little something to a space even before it’s lit, and this one did exactly that.
Once lit, the soft glow and cozy scent made my home feel even more welcoming. Even if Minnesota’s weather isn’t quite ready to embrace fall, this candle certainly helped set the mood inside! It was such a simple, lovely way to bring a little more of my favorite season into my everyday routine.

Pumpkin Croissant Air Freshener (2-Pack) - Retail Value $10
This month’s scent was delicious, and we received an extra treat! Our surprise gift was a two-pack of air fresheners in the same pumpkin croissant scent as the candle. Featuring a cute assortment of baked goods, they were just as pretty as they were fragrant.
These little air fresheners definitely pack a punch! I left mine in its packaging and placed it in my car, but even wrapped up, the scent was strong. I ended up tucking it into my glove box to tone it down a bit. The smell was so convincing that my husband asked if I’d stopped at a bakery! While it was a little intense at first, the fragrance itself is amazing—and now my car gets to feel a little cozier for fall, too.

Since I burn candles almost daily, it's important to me that they're free of toxins and other harmful ingredients. Vellabox does an excellent job of curating small-batch brands that are not only safe to burn but smell absolutely incredible, too!
This month's "Pumpkin Croissant" candle was pure perfection, adding a comforting touch to our busy lifestyle. With the addition of the curated Spotify playlist and the yummy air fresheners, this month's box truly felt complete.
