BREO BOX Review Fall 2026

Fall is here, and I just can’t believe how quickly time flies. It feels like I was just soaking up the last days of summer vacation, and here we are, already a month into the new school year. Our schedule has been packed, and I haven’t had a chance to stop and catch my breath, let alone think for a second. I’m tired, but I also feel incredibly blessed.

That being said, I was thrilled to receive this quarter’s BREO BOX. I was definitely in need of a little treat, and this box was filled with fun, innovative gadgets and useful products. It was exciting to dig through everything and discover what was inside. The box was just the pick-me-up I needed and added to my already good mood!

Just like the previous seasonal BREO BOX, the fall edition arrived packaged in two sturdy cardboard boxes and a handy cloth sack—but I have to say, this season’s box was HUGE! Everything arrived safe and sound, and I couldn’t wait to dive in.

Side note: these cardboard boxes are perfect for wrapping gifts, and the cloth bags have been a lifesaver for hauling home dirty laundry from trips and conferences. I just love reusable bags!

Kicking off this quarter’s box, we received a sturdy card with a QR code. Scanning it takes you straight to the BREO BOX website, where you can check out all the included items! From detailed descriptions and retail values to photos and extra info, it’s the perfect way to learn about everything in the box and how to use it. Super handy!

Twelve South AirFly Pro 2 - Retail Value $59.99

The first item I received was definitely an interesting one, especially if you’re a traveler, athlete, or gamer! This handy little gadget is an adapter that allows you to connect wireless headphones to a traditional headphone jack. Even better, you can connect two pairs of headphones at the same time, making it possible for two people to listen together without disturbing anyone around them.

I can see this being especially useful in a variety of situations. It would be perfect for long airplane rides when you want to watch a movie or listen to music, great for using at the gym while working out on the treadmill, and a fun addition for gaming when you want to share the experience with someone else. It’s a simple solution to a problem you don’t realize you have until you need it!

The pairing process was quick and easy, and my son put it to the test with his gaming system. He was able to get everything connected without any trouble and found that it worked smoothly. I always appreciate tech gadgets that don’t require a complicated setup or a lengthy instruction manual to figure out!

This was definitely a fun and useful techy inclusion in this quarter’s box. In fact, my sister has already asked to borrow it for her upcoming flight to Vegas, so I guess that’s a pretty good sign that it’s a winner! I’m happy to share it with her this time, although I’m secretly hoping I’ll get the chance to put it to the test on an airplane myself someday. Maybe my next trip will finally give me an excuse to claim it back!

Greater Goods Burr Coffee Grinder - Retail Value $99.99

This subscription takes coffee seriously, and that is something I am very happy about! I love a good cup (or four) of coffee in the morning, and I have to admit, I’m slowly becoming a bit of a coffee bean snob. It all started when my sister-in-law introduced me to freshly ground beans, and now I can definitely tell the difference between a fresh grind and the pre-ground stuff.

I already had a grinder, but it was noisy, tended to get jammed easily, and wasn’t always the most convenient to use. Needless to say, I was excited to give this Greater Goods grinder a try, and it did not disappoint. This thing is absolutely fantastic! It can grind up to 40 ounces at a time, has easy-to-adjust settings for different levels of coarseness, and is incredibly fast. Best of all, it’s surprisingly quiet compared to my old grinder, which is a huge bonus when I’m trying to make coffee before everyone else in the house is awake.

It’s also easy to clean, simple to operate, and has quickly become one of those kitchen gadgets I didn’t realize I needed until I had one. The grind is consistent, and the whole process feels effortless. I’ve seen and used quite a few different coffee grinders over the years, and I can honestly say this is the best one I’ve ever used!

If you’re serious about your morning coffee—or even if you’re just looking for an easy way to upgrade your daily cup—this grinder is a fantastic addition. Freshly ground coffee has officially become a non-negotiable in my house!

Look at that deliciousness!! I am obsessed!

KeySmart SmartLock - Retail Value $29.99

The next item is another one that would be especially handy for travel. I don’t do a lot of traveling, so I don’t really have much need for a lock for my bag that can track its location, but I think it’s a really neat idea and a useful inclusion in the box. Once again, my sister immediately asked if she could borrow it for her upcoming trip to Vegas!

Good thing she’s taking me to Vegas in two years for my fortieth birthday, because then I’ll finally get the chance to try out all of these goodies for myself! Until then, I guess I’ll just have to let her be the official tester. 😉

Prepara Salad Pod - Retail Value $25.00

I am loving that this quarter’s curation has such a great mix of items and that the overall value is spread out pretty evenly among them. There really seems to be something for everyone in this box, and I especially appreciate when the products are things I can actually use in my everyday life.

I eat salads pretty often for lunch at school, so this salad pod is seriously one of the coolest things I’ve received! It has a really clever design that makes it both practical and fun to use. The top opens up and includes a little container for your dressing, which helps keep everything fresh and prevents your salad from getting soggy. But here’s the really cool part: it also opens from the side, and the side is completely flat, so you can actually eat your salad right out of the container!

It’s such a simple idea, but it makes packing and eating lunch so much easier. I’ve been using it to tote my salads around, and it has quickly become one of my favorite lunch containers. It’s convenient, doesn’t take up a ton of space, and makes bringing a salad to school a breeze. My co-workers are definitely jealous, and I can’t say I blame them! This is one clever little invention that I’ll be getting plenty of use out of.

Illumates Mini Folding Lamp - Retail Value $24.99

One of my very favorite items in this quarter’s box was this adorable little mini folding lamp. With its warm, gentle light and completely cordless design, this flat little disk pops open to create the cutest little lantern. It’s such a simple and clever design, and I honestly think it’s one of the most charming items I’ve received in a box like this!

It would be great for camping, keeping on a nightstand, taking along in the car, or even using in a bedroom when you want a little extra light without turning on a bright overhead fixture. The height is adjustable, so you can make it taller or shorter depending on how you want to use it, and it recharges easily with a USB-C cable. It even has a little string handle, making it easy to hang wherever you need a bit of extra illumination.

This definitely isn’t something I would have thought I needed before receiving it, but I’ve found myself reaching for it surprisingly often. The soft, warm light is perfect when I want just a little glow without a harsh brightness. It has quickly become one of those unexpected little gadgets that are incredibly useful on a regular basis!

OXO Good Grips Apple Divider - Retail Value $14.99

The last item I received was another really good one! OXO is one of my favorite kitchen gadget brands, so I was already excited to see this included in the box. And because I absolutely love apples—and currently have a plethora of them on hand—I knew I could definitely put another one of these to good use!

This hard-plastic apple divider is sturdier than some of the competing brands I’ve tried, and it is seriously sharp! It cuts right through even the hardest apples with very little effort, making the whole process of coring and slicing them so much quicker and easier. When you have a big pile of apples to work through, having a reliable tool like this makes a huge difference.

We made a lot of applesauce this year, so this little gadget got plenty of use. Instead of spending extra time cutting and coring each apple individually, I could quickly run the divider through them and keep moving. It was definitely a time-saver and another practical addition to the box—especially for an apple lover like me!

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

Yes! This quarter’s BREO BOX did a great job curating a collection with a wide variety of uses. I appreciated that every item was high quality and that there was a good mix of high value items, but not a single "hero" item that took up the value of the box.

This quarter’s box retailed at over $254 and was one of the most useful boxes I have ever received. I loved the mix of food, coffee, and tech items, and love my fresh daily coffee! Discovering new items is always a thrill for me, and if being the first among your friends to discover cool, techy finds is your jam, I highly recommend this box! I’m already looking forward to the winter BREO BOX.
