First Impressions
As you may know, my cat Miley Mae passed away in July, and I was planning to take a break from having a kitty for a bit. But as luck would have it, our neighbor's cat had kittens, and we ended up with a brother-and-sister pair that the boys named Chester and Daisy. While my old bestie will never be forgotten, it has been such a fun change of pace with our new kitties!
This month's CatLadyBox arrived, and I couldn't wait to see what the kittens thought! The toys were a huge hit, and, as always, we loved the lifestyle items!

Although I love most animals, cats are where it's at for me! Seeing this purple cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in white tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more, plus you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the goodies, this box also included an information sheet—and guess what? The custom artwork is back! This month's art is Halloween-themed and features a cute little kitty sitting in a pumpkin!
The artwork is whimsical, colorful, and fun, making it the perfect addition to the growing collection on my fridge.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside This Cat Lady Box
Cat Loaf Tee - Listed Value $24.99
The first item we received this month was a “Cat Loaf, Freshly Baked Just for You” tee. This plum-purple shirt is ultra-soft and features a cute design. It has a cutting board with a little chubby cat lounging on it, which reminded me of my mom's cat and made me laugh. The saying is a little odd, so it’s not my absolute favorite, but since it looks like my mom's cat, I’m going to share it with her. We love these shirts because they’re comfy and cute, and we always appreciate getting them!
Kitty Dish Towels - Listed Value $12.99
The next item we received was an adorable set of kitty dish towels. They are large and have the cutest print ever! They’re very absorbent and look adorable hanging from my stove. I love the whimsical design and would definitely love to receive more items like this in the future!
Cat Shelf Sitters - Retail Value $16.99
I really loved the next item we received. This set of three kitty shelf sitters reminds me of my three cats. I put the white one in front of my picture of Miley and have the other two on the shelf above our couch. They’re small and cute and add a fun little nod to kitties in my home without looking too over-the-top!
Falling Leaves Wiggler Wand - Retail Value $6.99
Wand toys were always Miley’s favorite, so I was excited to see how the kittens would react to a toy like this. Obviously, they loved it! This one featured a printed fabric and didn’t have a feather on the end, but that didn’t stop them from having a blast. They literally chased it around for hours and looked like little gophers sitting up on their back feet!
Chirpy Chirp Bird Toy - Listed Value $5.99
The next toy we received was the kitties’ favorite! This one was a chirpy bird toy that made noise AND had feathers, so it was an instant hit. Chester was obsessed with it and wouldn’t even let Daisy try it out!
I love the fact that these toys are so well made and high quality. Even after tons of playtime, they’re still in great condition and have provided plenty of entertainment for both us and the cats!
