The Fall Collection IPSY Ultimate box is "made to linger." And I couldn't agree more. The whole concept is that fall is a season to slow down, so the picks lean into indulgent textures and elevated scents designed to feel as good as they perform. For once, this is a highly curated box that hits every fall touchpoint without defaulting to the basics. You won't find pumpkin-spiced anything here. Think warm, elevated textures and scents worth the extra 30 minutes in your routine.
This quarter, I'm going all in with the IPSY Ultimate Box ($65/quarter), which replaces my IPSY Extra every February, May, August, and November. It comes with 8 full-size, celeb-curated products worth up to $400, plus a Beauty Boost add-on for an extra $15.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)
What’s Inside
Sachajuan Hair Repair Treatment – Retail Value $39

Right off the bat, the box opens with such a luxurious brand. This mask runs on Sachajuan's signature Ocean Silk Technology, basically a blend of red and brown algae extracts that work their way into the hair shaft instead of just sitting on top, like many silicone-heavy masks do. My favorite part is honestly the fragrance. Spa scent, through and through. It makes the whole experience feel like a treatment rather than a chore. And yes, your hair looks crazy sleek after. Perfect for an at-home spa moment.

Merit Slick Tinted Lip Oil – Retail Value $24
Shade: Les Deux
This supposedly works with your natural lip pH to adjust its color. I'm not sure I saw any difference. Instead, you have a very faint pink shade. The lip oil is very runny, but it does dry nicely and doesn't leave my lips feeling like I just ate a whole bowl of oily pasta. It's not something I think I'd run to wear, but I might keep this by my desk to keep my lips hydrated while I work.

Mutha Up All Night Eye Cream – Retail Value $90
I refuse. Again, refuse to spend $90 on an eye cream. I'm sorry. This one obviously looks high-end, luxurious, and the packaging gives it that "expensive" look and feel, but it's just a nice eye cream. I do like that it has pearl powder and caffeine from coffee seed extract, so it brightens and de-puffs the under-eye area in the morning. There's a stable form of vitamin C in there too, working quietly in the background. Still, the texture is like that of a thick concealer, so it's not as enjoyable to apply.

BeautyBio Swipe & Glow Peel Pads – Retail Value $45
Brilliant addition for a fall box. First of all, we all need to shed whatever sun damage we're carrying from summer. Even with SPF, some of that lingers. These pads pack glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and gluconolactone, plus niacinamide, so you're getting exfoliation, oil control, and brightening in one swipe. They're genuinely soaked, not stingy, which matters for a pre-dosed pad. I actually save these for my body. Arms, legs, underarms, and back are all fair game to brighten skin and fade lingering hyperpigmentation.

Makeup by Mario Master Mascara – Retail Value $28
Shade: Super Black
At last, I get to try something from this brand that isn't a lipstick. And dare I say, I like this much more? It's highly volumizing without looking clumpy, and it still gives you a natural lash look rather than a spider-lash situation. I tested this under Florida's humidity, and it genuinely held up. No smudging, no flaking. It is a bit of a pain to remove, but that's the trade-off with a smudge-free, long-wearing formula. Worth it.

Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash – Retail Value $57

Out of all the ELEMIS products I've tried, their cleansers always have a soft spot in my heart, and this is no exception. It's part of their Tri-Enzyme Technology line, so you've got papain (from papaya), protease, and subtilisin working together to gently dissolve dead skin instead of scrubbing it off. It's a creamy cleanser that lathers minimally but still breaks down mascara, sunscreen, and makeup with ease. I love how, despite being a resurfacing formula, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or stripped. There's babassu oil in there too, which I think is why it never crosses into "squeaky clean" territory.
Would I repurchase? Yes.
Arey Good Night, Grey – Retail Value $58
Well, I do have plenty of greys in my hair (yes, in my mid-30s, I know). I already have an evening scalp product, but this one caught my attention. Turns out it's not just another vague "healthy hair" serum. It's built around targeting the actual cells responsible for hair pigment while you sleep, which is a lot more specific than most of these claims. So now I get what they're going for. Whether it actually shows up as less grey over time is the real test.
Would I repurchase? Too soon to tell.
Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $65 + $15 Beauty Boost = $80
Total Retail Value: $341
Okay, the box itself is definitely worth it. But it was shy of the $400 they usually offer. I think one more product would have closed that gap. A candle or fragrance would have sealed the deal perfectly.
That said, the products in this box are certainly up to the quality you'd expect from the IPSY Ultimate Box. I was really surprised by the Makeup by Mario mascara. To be honest, I thought it was going to be crap. The Sachajuan Hair Repair Mask is such a treat, and even though I'm not crazy about it, I actually like having the Merit lip tint around. Oh, and let's not forget the Elemis cleanser. That alone makes this box worth it for me.
Everything here is usable throughout fall, and for once I don't think I'll have to give any of these away.
