Innersense Detox Hair Mask, 6fl oz - Retail Value $30
While I've tried several scalp detox products, I've never seen one meant for the length of my hair. This detox mask has that typical kaolin clay fragrance which meanders with herby essences of ylang-ylang, orange, and patchouli that I can't stop sniffing.
This soft formula spreads easily throughout my hair and scalp, and I ended up skipping conditioner because after rinsing, I was able to effortlessly detangle and finger comb through my strands. Kaolin clay and charcoal powder remove product buildup and excess oil while glycerin conditions the hair making it touchably soft and smooth.
Innersense Repair Mask, 6fl oz - Retail Value $34
Wow, I wish I had this product before I gave my hair the big chop. I was sick of my dry ends creating knots and tangles, and it just seemed like the ends gave up, splitting into weaker strands that just laid limply underneath my shoulder blades. Sigh. I miss my long hair, but maybe this is a good opportunity to do some preventative work!
Based on Repair Mask's thick and creamy texture, I knew immediately that we would get along. Hydrolyzed moringa protein helps to improves hair structure, and tamanu oil is in charge of providing hydration from root to tip, like any good mask. When you use this mask, you're also giving your hair a healthy dose of Vitamin C for overall health and repairments. Over time, this mask with regular usage, might be able to give the length of my hair the longevity I wished for a few weeks ago. Fingers crossed!
Innersense Air Dry Styling Cream, 6fl oz - Retail Value $30
I am the air-dry queen! Every time I wash my hair, I only blow my bangs dry so they stay where they belong; the rest of my hair dances to its own beat. Sometimes that means leaving the house with a damp head of hair and living with unruly, random waves in unfortunate places. That is where Air Dry Styling Cream comes into play.
This lightweight product helps cut dry-time in half, and it gives a little bit of structure and manageabililty to my 'do without leaving any weird, unwanted texture or crunch behind. Baobob and algin give the hair a smooth finish and leave it soft without making it flat. I only needed a dime-sized amount to cover my hair, so this tube should last me a lifetime.
Innersense Overnight Repair Serum, 4fl oz - $42
Innersense's new product, Overnight Repair Serum, is just launching with this month's Discovery! I love trying new products, and this one is totally hot off the press. It is also the product I was most excited for. Is there anything better than going to bed knowing that you're also getting a spa treatment while you sleep? That's how I felt when I applied this serum to my strands before I said goodnight.
This light serum soaked into my dry hair immediately, so I wasn't concerned about anything transferring onto my pillow or sheets. Its natural aromatic fragrance wafted as I laid under my fan, and I could still smell it when I woke up. Hydrolyzed moringa protein helps to rebuild broken bonds, and tamanu oil locks in moisture, so this, over time, will help keep my hair healthy and looking good. I plan on using it once a week to keep my hair healthy as it grows back.
