First Impressions
August is here, and I’m definitely not ready for fall! Summer vacation has been so busy, and after a two-week break from sports, I would love to hang onto it a little longer. But alas, football has started, which means our schedule is absolutely stinking crazy, and the kids are in desperate need of showers when they get home! This month’s Bath Bevy “Out of This World” Tubless Box arrived at the perfect time to help us freshen up before crawling into bed each night, all while soothing those tight, tired muscles.
Filled with indulgent, tub-free goodies, this subscription never disappoints. After checking a few things off my never-ending to-do list, I couldn’t wait to carve out a little time to relax and unwind. Keep reading to see what made this month’s box such a wonderful treat!
I have to say, each and every month I look forward to receiving this beautiful blue and white box in the mail. Packaged so delicately with crinkle paper, tissue paper, and a sticker to top it off, this truly is presented like a gift. PLUS this box is heavy! Star Dust Steamer Dust by Two Wild Hares - Retail Value $10.00
Like I mentioned above, our schedule has been absolutely insane lately, and hot baths are hard to come by with our time constraints. That being said, everyone has been showering! Tub and shower time is when I can unwind and relax, so even when time is tight, this subscription helps me reap some of those same benefits. This month’s steamer dust can be sprinkled on the bottom of the tub, where the stream of water from the showerhead activates it and creates a wonderfully scented steam. This month’s version was blue and wasn’t exactly a dust, but I was able to break off pieces and use them in the shower. It has a strong menthol scent, making it great for clearing plugged sinuses and leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I absolutely love this stuff!
Twilight Woods Body Lotion - Retail Value $12.00
The next item we received was a bottle of body lotion. This lotion also stayed true to the August theme, featuring notes of woods, sensual amber, mimosa, vanilla musk, apricot nectar, and berry. With its warm, musky fragrance, this lotion was the perfect finishing touch after a hot soak. I’ve become incredibly fond of the convenient pump mechanism these bottles use, and I really appreciate how hydrating the lotion feels without leaving behind a greasy residue.
Starry Night Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $18.00
Sticking with the “Out of This World” theme, we also received a container of whipped soap scrub. This particular version smells amazing, with a delicious blend of blackberry and amber, and creates a wonderfully indulgent exfoliating experience. The sugar scrub is gentle enough for everyday use, yet effective enough to use before shaving or whenever your skin needs a little extra moisture and care. It has quickly become a staple in my summer foot-care routine, and my kids are obsessed with it too! Another fantastic addition to an already amazing box!
Moon Magic Shower Steamer - Retail Value $3.00
The next item we received was a shower steamer in a convenient disc shape. This shower steamer is scented with ylang-ylang and lavender essential oils, creating a soothing and relaxing aroma. Like the steamer dust, you simply place it on the shower floor, away from the direct stream of water, and let the fragrance envelop the bathroom. I haven’t had a chance to use this one yet because I’ve been enjoying the other goodies, but I really appreciate its inclusion. Lavender is my absolute favorite scent, so I’m hoping to make this shower an extra-long one!
Crystal Infused Bath and Body Oil "Galactic Glimmer" - Retail Value $12.00
This next item, the crystal-infused bath and body oil, is such an amazing addition to this month’s box! Made with nourishing oils and a light, pleasant fragrance, it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and wonderfully moisturized without feeling overly heavy or greasy. The bottle itself is gorgeous, with shimmering glitter and crystals settled at the bottom, making it feel like a little bit of magic in my daily self-care routine. I’ve especially loved applying it after a shower while my skin is still slightly damp, as it helps lock in moisture and leaves behind a subtle, beautiful glow once my skin dries. It’s both practical and pretty, and I’m really excited to have this one in my Bath Bevy collection!
Mystical Moon Lip Scrub - Retail Value $5.00
The last item I received was the Mystical Moon Lip Scrub, created by Artisan Bath Co. This adorable little container features a beautiful blue sugar scrub with sparkly accents and a cute moon-shaped sprinkle! Flavored with white chocolate taffy, it tastes absolutely delicious while you use it and left my lips feeling silky smooth and soft. This was the perfect inclusion as we head into fall, when the cooler, drier air can leave my lips feeling chapped. It’s such a fun and practical little treat, and a great way to end this month’s fantastic curation. I’ve already tucked it into my purse so I can keep it handy for some on-the-go lip care!
