These are popular for a reason: they deliver a level of gloss that's genuinely hard to find in a lip balm. It's light, non-sticky, and incredibly easy to wear. The formula is loaded with shea butter, ceramide, and macadamia seed oil, so it's actually conditioning while it shines, a nice combo for a K-beauty brand. My only note is that the wear time is short, but that's just the nature of a gloss. My favorite thing about this one specifically? Zero spice. I've tried lip plumpers that go full peppermint or capsicum on your lips, and I hate that sensation, so a formula that delivers the gloss without the tingle is a win in my book.

Tower 28 FaceGuard SPF 30 Sunscreen PA+++ – Retail Value $32
I remember being genuinely excited when this launched. I'm a big fan of Tower 28's tinted sunscreen, and I thought this would be a low-maintenance no-makeup alternative. It wasn't. The tint leans orange in that classic "supposed to blend into all skin tones" way, which never actually works. Even after rubbing it in thoroughly, the white cast is still visible, which, to be fair, is pretty typical for a mineral formula. The silver lining is that it's genuinely non-greasy and a solid choice for acne-prone skin. If you wear makeup over it or don't mind a slight cast, you'll be fine. For me personally, it just doesn't land as a standalone product.

Verb Amber + Jasmine Hair + Body Fragrance Mist – Retail Value $22
I may or may not have picked this myself, I genuinely can't remember, but I've been curious about "hair fragrances" for a while. Here's my honest take: there's no meaningful difference between this and a body spray. It's a glorified body mist with a different label. That said, the scent is genuinely beautiful, kind of like a soft floral with that warm, woody depth that amber brings, and it's gentle enough for daily wear. So, marketing tricks aside, I'll take it.

Lithe Beauty Sunset Blush Palette – Retail Value $36
Blush palettes usually feel like a trap to me — too many shades I'll never use, too much product going to waste. This one actually surprised me. It's a 4-shade matte powder palette, and the shades are blendable enough that you can layer them for a genuinely 3D blush effect. What I love most is the versatility: you can use the lighter shades as blush, the deeper ones to contour, and the shimmery one doubles beautifully as an eyeshadow for a monochromatic look. It all works together so naturally. Perfect for everyday makeup.

LYS Beauty Bright Start Creamy Buildable Airbrush Concealer – Retail Value $24
Every time I open a concealer from an IPSY box, I brace myself, because 9 times out of 10, it's the wrong shade. This was no exception. I went back and checked my settings; they're correct. So I genuinely cannot tell you why a light concealer keeps landing in my box. Shade issues aside, the formula is promising: super creamy, not powdery, and it dries really well. You can tell the coverage would be impressive in the right shade. I just don't have it to verify.
Would I repurchase? Probably — in my actual shade.

Honestly... maybe? Nothing in this box had me jumping up and down. It felt more like a collection of half-okayed picks that happened to fill a bag than a cohesive, intentional summer edit. The Olivia Umma lip balm is my clear favorite, followed by the Verb fragrance. But I kept thinking about what this box could've been — a setting spray, dry shampoo, body glitter — something that really leans into the vacation energy. There's room to do better here, IPSY.
