Silk + Sonder June 2026

June is almost here, and we’re officially on the summer countdown! With only eight days of school left, I’m starting my summer to-do list—first up: baseball, then relaxation. I honestly can’t believe how fast this year has flown by, and I’m even more shocked that my kids will be in 6th and 8th grade. Eek!

While I don’t have to worry about my work schedule this summer, I still need my Silk + Sonder planner to keep track of three different baseball teams and their schedules. Without it, I’d be completely lost. It’s not only lovely to look at—it also gives me a chance to pause, reflect, and reset. It helps me stay organized, grounded, and just a bit more in control of everything going on. Honestly, I can’t imagine managing it all without it.

Flow - A state where actions, thoughts, and emotions move in harmony - fully present, engaged, and guided by your true desires.

I love that Silk + Sonder chooses a unique theme each month, and I truly appreciate how thoughtfully Meha Agrawal, the creator, curates each one. June’s theme is Flow, and honestly, it’s exactly what I need at the start of summer vacation!

As we inch closer to summer, this time of year always feels like a lot. With so much going on and the rush toward summer vacation, I need to remind myself to slow down and go with the flow.

So this month, I’m focusing on being present and grounded while taking things one day at a time.

One of my favorite things about Silk + Sonder is receiving a fresh planner each month. That little reset is so refreshing—year-long planners always end up feeling overwhelming for me. This one does include a year-at-a-glance page, but the boxes are quite small, so I mainly use it for quick reference when looking ahead at future dates. At the beginning of each month, I fill in the calendar with upcoming events, and before I know it, the days are flying by.

June is already shaping up to be a busy month, and my calendar is quickly filling up, which makes me thankful I am off of work!

Staying organized plays a huge role in managing my anxiety, so having a quick-reference calendar right at the front of my planner is a lifesaver. It helps me stay grounded and calm when life gets hectic—especially on days when taking things one day at a time just isn’t quite enough.

On page 6, we turn to the “Future Log,” which includes two small calendars for the upcoming months. There’s just enough space to jot down quick notes—and honestly, I’m so focused on the now that I don’t even want to think about July or August, though I am excited to see summer vacation coming up fast!

On the opposite page, there’s a blank page that I can use for lists, notes, and anything else I need.

Page 8 offers space to reflect on the previous month, with sections to capture your wins, challenges, and favorite moments. It’s such a helpful way to pause and evaluate what’s working — and what isn’t. This is one of my favorite pages because it reminds me to acknowledge the small accomplishments that might otherwise go unnoticed. There’s also a section to jot down what you want to start, stop, and continue moving forward.

May was incredibly busy and filled with both good and challenging moments. My May wins included a fun trip to New York Mills, baseball, the summer countdown, and beading fun. Some challenges included an extra-hectic schedule, Hank injuring his mouth, the wild weather, and dealing with two broken vehicles. My favorite moments included Hank playing in his first varsity baseball game, a successful turkey hunt, visits with Grandma, and Mother’s Day. Even with all the chaos, it made for a fun — and memorable — month!

Reflecting on these moments helps ground me. Even when things feel hard, life is still full of goodness, and I love that this page encourages me to hold onto that.

Next up is the Monthly Intentions page. I love this section because it gives you space to set meaningful goals and revisit them throughout the month. With six categories and boxes to fill in, there’s plenty of room to jot down your thoughts. It’s not necessarily a to-do list—it’s more about starting the month with intention and reminding yourself what you’d like to focus on. This month, my intentions are pretty simple which is exactly what I need. While the list is short for now, I’m sure I’ll add more as the month goes on. I’m excited to keep checking in and see how far I can go!

As I mentioned earlier, Silk + Sonder is so much more than just a planner—and the trackers on pages 10 and 11 are proof of that. These pages feature a mood tracker and a habit tracker, giving you space to log your daily moods and monitor your habits throughout the month. I find this feature especially helpful for spotting patterns, which is something that really supports me in managing my anxiety. What I love most is how customizable these trackers are—you can focus on exactly what matters to you, all wrapped up in such a beautiful design. Silk + Sonder usually ships about a week and a half before the new month begins, so while I’ve already created my “keys” for each tracker, I haven’t started filling them in just yet. I really do need to start back up on low carb and start running though!!! Eeeeek!!

Page 12 features another tracker—this one for sleep. I don’t usually have trouble in that department, so I tend to skip it. The opposite page, though, is one of my favorites. Page 13 includes a gratitude log, which offers 30 lines to jot down things I’m grateful for each day of the month.

I highly recommend this practice, even if you don’t use this specific planner. Especially during tough times, it serves as a gentle reminder of all the good things in life.

This month’s theme is Flow, and on page 14, there are prompts inviting us to reflect on what being “in flow” means to us. It explores how we’re connected in our day-to-day lives and asks us to think about the last time we truly felt in flow. These thoughtful questions are a great way to slow down, reflect, and deepen our self-awareness so we can become more intentional in our daily lives.

We were also given a “My Flow State” activity on page 15, which encourages us to imagine and depict a day where we wake up feeling aligned and consider how that feels. I love it!

The next page introduces a new activity called “Flow Mapping.” In it, you’re asked to reflect on a recent time when you struggled to focus but eventually found your flow. I decided to save this activity until we actually get into June, since we receive this planner a couple of weeks early each month.

On the opposite page, there’s a beautiful poem by Lucy Maud Montgomery titled "A Summer Day." Its wording is thoughtful and deeply meaningful, making it a perfect complement to June’s theme of Flow.

The next page features an adorable sea turtle coloring page, and I can’t wait to work on it during my work-free coffee mornings in June!

On the opposite page, there’s a “Vision Board” activity. Honestly, I haven’t spent much time doing vision board activities in the past, but I do have a few summer goals in mind, so I sketched a couple of them in the bottom right corner. With a little more time and intention, I’d love to dive deeper into this activity because I really do think it can be helpful — especially when I’m not waking up so ridiculously early for work anymore. Yay!

I truly appreciate how thoughtfully this journal includes so many different activities designed to encourage reflection, creativity, and becoming the best version of yourself.

Every Silk + Sonder journal includes a recipe, and this month’s dish calls for ingredients I don’t currently have on hand — which is usually the case for me with these recipes! This month’s featured recipe is a Watermelon Cocktail, and while it sounds absolutely delicious, especially for summer, I’m missing almost every ingredient right now. My husband also doesn’t drink alcohol, so I’m not sure how quickly we’d make it. But if you happen to try it, please let me know how it turns out! If it’s as good as it sounds, I just might have to whip it up myself.

On the opposite page is an “Affirmation Suns” prompt. This activity encourages you to have some fun by writing affirmations inside each sunshine that reflect things you want to believe about yourself. Reading these reminders daily can really help build confidence and encourage positive thinking. Honestly, I think this would be such a fun and meaningful activity to do with some of my students next year!

Blank sheets are always helpful and a great place to do some long division, write notes, and jot down addresses!

Each month, we get some kind of brain puzzle, and this time it’s a word wheel game! I love word games, so this was right up my alley. I was able to find 11 words that were three letters or longer and included the letter L.

We also received a riddle. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m terrible at riddles, but my 11-year-old son actually figured this one out before I could. Go, Charlie!

On the opposite page, there’s an expense tracker. While it’s a great feature, I don’t personally use it since I already track my expenses in a Google Doc. That’s one of the things I really appreciate about this journal — it’s designed to be flexible and used in whatever way works best for you.

I love that this journal always starts on a Monday, and because June 1 falls on a Monday this year, the journal begins right on the first of the month. When it comes to the journal as a whole, I probably spend the most time on these calendar pages. With sections for meal planning, to-do lists, habits and activities, shopping lists, and daily schedules, I truly write everything here.

These pages help keep me on track each day and give me that satisfying sense of accomplishment — because honestly, there’s nothing better than crossing something off a list! I also really appreciate the thoughtful extras included throughout these pages. While I don’t always fill out the section about how I want to feel each week, I found it especially helpful this time to write those intentions down and pray over them.

This journal is seriously so helpful!

Tidying up with one last quote, the dictionary definition of "sonder," and the back cover, that's all there is to it. I have come to find that a key part of my day is when I sit and fill out my planner with my cup of coffee. This quiet time happens before the kids are awake, and kicks my day off to a good start before I start my school day. It is extremely important for me to keep a consistent schedule for managing my anxiety and creating much more positive life, and this journal definitely is a big help in that.

The Verdict

I have to say, I really enjoyed June’s theme of Flow because I needed to remember that everyday is a gift and that I need to let up a bit and just go with the flow. Silk + Sonder has been an incredible source of support through both the good times and the challenging ones. It has truly become a necessity! Without this planner, I’d definitely feel lost (and so would my husband!). I continue to be impressed with this subscription and can’t wait to see what July has in store.

I typically set aside about 15–20 minutes a day for this journal, flipping from front to back as I reflect, add to, and process what I’ve previously written. By the end of the month, my mind feels much more organized and grounded. The beauty of this planner is remarkable, and its portable size means I can easily carry it in my purse. I’ve been so impressed with every aspect, and I’m really looking forward to continuing to learn more about myself—all while staying organized, enjoying a little daily quiet time, and prioritizing meaningful self-care.
