Silk + Sonder is a monthly planner subscription that makes planning, reflecting, and achieving easy and fun by delivering a new pen-to-paper experience every month. Each planner features new layouts that are "inspired by positive psychology, bullet journaling, and self-help books." For an annual plan, the cost is $19.95/month. There are also quarterly and monthly plans available.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Silk + Sonder March 2026

March will be here in just four days, and I’m shocked at how quickly the 2025–2026 school year is flying by. When my kids were babies and toddlers, the days (and even the years) felt like they dragged on. Now that they’re in fifth and seventh grade, time seems to move at lightning speed. Some days I feel so overwhelmed I can barely keep up!

As always, this month’s Silk + Sonder planner has truly helped me stay on track. With everything we have going on—school, work, and sports—I’d lose my mind without it. This beautiful pastel pink journal isn’t just gorgeous to look at; it’s also a bright spot in my day. It gives me a moment to sit, relax, and reflect on both my schedule and myself, keeping me organized and grounded. Honestly, I don’t know how I’d manage all the chaos without it.

Change: The act or process of becoming different, intentionally or unexpectedly, offering an opportunity to grow, heal, and align more deeply.

I love that Silk + Sonder chooses a unique theme each month, and I truly appreciate how thoughtfully Meha, the creator, curates each one. March’s theme is Change, and honestly, I needed it more than I realized.

This winter has felt especially long, and while I’m more than ready for the literal change of seasons, I’m also ready for a personal season of change. Since the tragic loss of my sister-in-law, I’ve felt like I’ve been trudging through a slump—short-tempered and cranky more often than I’d like to admit. After reading this month’s message about change, it became clear that I’m in need of an opportunity to grow, heal, and realign. I’m truly taking this theme to heart.

Read on to see what I discovered.

One of my favorite things about Silk + Sonder is getting a fresh planner each month. That little monthly reset feels so refreshing—year-long planners always end up overwhelming me. This one does include a year-at-a-glance page, but the boxes are tiny, so I mainly use it to glance ahead at future dates. At the start of each month, I fill in the calendar with upcoming events, and before I know it, the days are flying by.

March is a bit of a strange transition month. Basketball has wrapped up for my fifth grader and will be finished for my seventh grader before March 1. That means no more practices—for now. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the varsity team makes it to the state tournament again this year, which would hopefully add a few more games to our schedule! March also marks the start of baseball, but since we don’t have the schedule yet, I have no idea what that will look like. While my calendar appears fairly quiet at the moment, volleyball playoffs are also coming up, so I know things will end up looking wild soon.

Staying organized plays a huge role in managing my anxiety, so having a quick-reference calendar right at the front of my planner is a lifesaver. It helps me stay grounded and calm when life gets hectic—especially on days when taking things one day at a time just isn’t quite enough.

On page 6, we turn to the “Future Log,” which includes two small calendars for the upcoming months. There’s just enough space to jot down quick notes—and honestly, I’m so focused on the now that I don’t even want to think about April or May - though I am excited for spring!

On the opposite page, there’s a blank spread, which is always a nice touch. I use these pages all the time for lists, numbers, and random bits of info, and I really appreciate that they’re included.

Page 8 offers space to reflect on the previous month, with sections to capture your wins, challenges, and favorite moments. It’s such a helpful way to pause and evaluate what’s working—and what isn’t. This is one of my favorite pages because it reminds me to acknowledge the small accomplishments that might otherwise go unnoticed. There’s also a section to jot down what you want to start, stop, and continue moving forward.

February felt especially short and was packed with basketball. We did get a snow day from school, but I also ended up sick and completely lost my voice. Some of my favorite moments included Valentine’s Day, the Hill City basketball game, enjoying a bike ride on a few 40-degree days, and trapping with Charlie.

Reflecting on these moments helps ground me. Even when things feel hard, life is still full of goodness—and I love that this page encourages me to hold onto that.

Next up is the Monthly Intentions page. I love this section because it gives you space to set meaningful goals and revisit them throughout the month. With six categories and boxes to fill in, there’s plenty of room to jot down your thoughts. It’s not necessarily a to-do list—it’s more about starting the month with intention and reminding yourself what you’d like to focus on. This month, my intentions are pretty simple which is exactly what I need. While the list is short for now, I’m sure I’ll add more as the month goes on. I’m excited to keep checking in and see how far I can go!

As I mentioned earlier, Silk + Sonder is so much more than just a planner—and the trackers on pages 10 and 11 are proof of that. These pages feature a mood tracker and a habit tracker, giving you space to log your daily moods and monitor your habits throughout the month. I find this feature especially helpful for spotting patterns, which is something that really supports me in managing my anxiety. What I love most is how customizable these trackers are—you can focus on exactly what matters to you, all wrapped up in such a beautiful design. Silk + Sonder usually ships about a week and a half before the new month begins, so while I’ve already created my “keys” for each tracker, I haven’t started filling them in just yet. I really do need to start back up on low carb and yoga though!!! Ekkkkk!!

Page 12 features another tracker—this one for sleep. I don’t usually have trouble in that department, so I tend to skip it. The opposite page, though, is one of my favorites. Page 13 introduces the Gratitude Log, with a line for each day of March to jot down something I’m grateful for. I highly recommend this practice, even if you don’t use this specific planner. Especially during tough times, it’s such a gentle reminder of all the good things in life.

This month’s theme is Change, and on page 14, there are prompts inviting us to reflect on a recent change we’ve experienced and write down details about it. We’re also asked to consider how we typically approach change.

Taking the time to reflect on this was incredibly helpful. I think it helped me get to the root of my sour mood and gave me some clarity on why I’ve been feeling the way I have. More importantly, it’s given me ideas for how to start working through it and making positive changes moving forward.

The next page introduces something new called “The Change Compass.” This activity invites you to visualize your life as a compass, reflect on your current state, and write down the shifts you’d like to see in each quadrant.

Since the month hasn’t started yet, I like to save some of these deeper-thinking prompts for a quiet weekend morning when I have a little more time. In the meantime, I reflect on the topics throughout the week, preparing my thoughts before putting them on paper. These prompts offer meaningful insights and truly encourage you to look within, helping you grow into a better, more self-aware version of yourself.

The next activity is another “Change” prompt titled Your Change Timeline. This exercise asks you to reflect on 2–3 pivotal moments when your life shifted significantly. Whether joyful or challenging, you jot down what happened, what triggered it, how it affected you, and what you learned or gained from the experience. I’ve been mulling over a few moments in my mind but want to spend a little more time reflecting before writing them down.

On the opposing page, there’s a poem titled Allow, and it was exactly what I needed to read. Written by Danna Faulds, the poem is both poignant and beautiful—a perfect companion to the reflections this prompt inspires.

The next page features a beautiful butterfly coloring page that I just haven’t had time to work on yet. I have to say, the sections are incredibly tiny, so this will definitely require some gel pens to color!

On the opposite page is a Change Scavenger Hunt. This activity invites you to find things like “something in nature that is in the middle of changing” and “an object you’re ready to let go of.” It’s a fun exercise in thought—I filled in a couple of the rectangles but decided to save some for when March actually begins. This activity is a little different from the usual prompts, and I really appreciate the variety.

Every Silk + Sonder journal includes a recipe, and this month’s dish called for ingredients I didn’t have on hand—which is usually the case with these recipes! This month’s recipe is Strawberry-Chocolate Greek Yogurt Bars, and while I love the idea, I’m missing four of the five ingredients right now. If you happen to try it, please let me know how it turns out! If it’s as good as it sounds, I might just give it a try.

On the opposite page is a Create Your Own Seasons of Change prompt. This activity invites you to design a visual representation of how you evolve through your internal “seasons.” You can use doodles, color codes, or symbols to express what each season means to you right now. As I mentioned earlier, I needed this theme more than I realized, so I really love this activity. I have a few ideas for each box, but I’m saving the full design for when March officially begins.

Blank sheets are always helpful and a great place to do some long division, write notes, and jot down addresses!

Each month, we get some kind of mind puzzle, and this time it was a word scramble featuring words related to change. I love word jumbles and flew through this one—though I’m not entirely sure if “detoxed” is correct. What do you think?

We also received a riddle. This month’s was pretty easy, and I’m fairly confident I got it right, though sometimes I tend to overthink and go for answers that are too simple.

On the opposite page is an expense tracker. While it’s a great feature, I don’t personally use it since I track my expenses in a Google Doc instead. As always, this journal is designed to be used in whatever way works best for you!

I love that this journal always starts on a Monday, even if that means beginning in the previous month. This month, started on Monday, February 23rd so I got a jump start on the month! When it comes to the journal as a whole, I tend to spend most of my time on these calendar pages. With sections for meal plans, to-dos, habits and activities, shopping lists, and daily schedules, I write everything here. It keeps me on track each day and gives me that satisfying feeling of accomplishment—there’s truly nothing better than crossing an item off my list. I also appreciate the extra touches these pages include. While I don’t always fill out how I want to feel each week, this week I found it really helpful to write it down and pray over it. This journal is just so darn helpful!

Tidying up with one last quote, the dictionary definition of "sonder," and the back cover, that's all there is to it. I have come to find that a key part of my day is when I sit and fill out my planner with my cup of coffee. This quiet time happens before the kids are awake, and kicks my day off to a good start before I start my school day. It is extremely important for me to keep a consistent schedule for managing my anxiety and creating much more positive life, and this journal definitely is a big help in that.

The Verdict

I have to say, I really enjoyed March’s theme of Change, because I needed a reminder that just because I’m going through a difficult season doesn’t mean I can’t grow and evolve. Silk + Sonder has been an incredible support through both the good times and the challenging ones. It has truly become an absolute necessity! Without this planner, I’d definitely be lost (and so would my husband!). I continue to be impressed with this subscription and can’t wait to see what April has in store.

I typically tend to allocate about 15-20 minutes a day to this journal and flip from front to back reflecting, adding to, and processing what I have previously written. By the end of the month, my brain feels much more organized and stable. The beauty of this planner is remarkable, and the packable size means I can tote it around in my purse. Being extremely impressed with all aspects, I am really looking forward to discovering more about myself, all while staying organized and offering myself a little daily quiet time and important self-care.
