I love how simple Nourish Beauty Box keeps it. There is no literature that I feel pressured to read, just four full-sized products looking back up at me.
Now, on to the items!
Nourish Naturals' Creamy Vegan Stain in "Sunset" - Retail Value $22
I have a collection of creamy stains, and I rarely reach for anything else. The staying power is amazing! I also love the healthy, glowy finish. Nourish Naturals' stain has emulsifiers, such as shea and kukum butters, to keep the skin hydrated, happy, and healthy. Sunset has a warm, orangey undertone that goes on boldly, but it blends easily into a subtle tint that lasts all day.
Smood Beauty's Super Cera Clarifying Barrier Serum- Retail Value $46
This serum is pretty clever! It is a two-for-one: salicylic acid exfoliates the skin, helping you shed dead skin that clogs your pores, while a ceramide complex moisturizes and helps protect your skin barrier. I have been obsessed with ceramides since my 20s; they are lipids that help lock in moisture and even prevent dryness, and my skin loves to bask in them, day and night. My skin felt smoother after using this serum, and the exfoliant did not irritate my sensitive skin.
Trifle Cosmetics' Buttercream - Retail Value $8
This is a decent cream for hydrating normal skin, but unfortunately, I do not have normal skin. I have desert skin. I have the skin of a parched mom who could probably use an extra 40oz of water a day. Of course, the best part of this cream is its decadently sweet fragrance, which gave me a craving for vanilla cake.
Solaana MD's Healthy Base Layer - Retail Value $65
I am so impressed with this moisturizer. It has a gorgeously thick texture that feels nourishing without being too heavy on the skin. Each application gives your skin 10mcg of vitamin D3, which is perfect for those who tend to be deficient (me). This moisturizer can be used on the face or body to help diminish acne scars and reduce signs of aging. I am so excited to put this moisturizer to work; so far, I love its texture, and it seems to really agree with my sensitive skin.
