Medusa's Make-Up Beauty Box is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup subscription box from the popular indie brand of the same name. Each month you'll receive a box of 3-5 vegan beauty products for just $25.95 with free shipping, with a total value of around $40. The shades and colors are always unique and the packaging is super fun!

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The March 2026 Box

As a long-time beauty enthusiast and subscription box reviewer, I've tried just about every make-up box out there. Medusa’s Make-Up, though, has steadily carved out a special spot in my rotation. When I first got the chance to review one of their boxes, I was curious, and now, several months (and many fun looks) later, I’m fully hooked. Each delivery brings something bold, cruelty-free, and totally unique. So, what’s inside March's box? Let’s dive in and see what this month has to offer!

Wrapped in a beautiful pink foil mailer, it was love at first sight! I was so excited to find this in my mailbox—I actually jumped for joy. This month, my products arrived safely, all secured in bubblewrap plastic. Everything was securely packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

Now, let’s dig in and see what I received!

Kicking things off, we have an info card that lists everything included in the box along with the retail values. I’m really loving the content card this month! Not only is the front adorable—with its spring florals and tie-dye vibe—but the back also breaks down each included item and its retail value. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

Lip Oil - Watermelon - Retail Value $14.00

This month, the first item we received was Medusa’s Make-Up Lip Oil in “Watermelon.” This oil delivers a shiny, hydrating finish that feels smooth and nourishing without any stickiness—and it smells exactly like watermelon gum!

The unique applicator adds a fun, futuristic touch that makes reapplying a pleasure. While it’s not the longest-lasting formula, the gorgeous glossy finish and feel-good hydration make it totally worth it. It doesn’t offer any real color payoff, but it’s truly a treat to wear (and smell), and I love seeing Medusa include their own branded makeup in the box.

Glam Rocker - Rhapsody - Listed Value $14.00

This month, the first item we received was a pan of Glam Rock eyeshadow—and it’s seriously stunning! The metallic burgundy shade is richly pigmented and adds a bold, edgy vibe to any look, though it can easily be toned down for something more subtle.

Since pink is my absolute favorite color, I adore the compact design, and I was thrilled to receive such a gorgeous shade that can even work for everyday wear. Once again, I’m happy to see another Medusa-branded item included—I really appreciate the thoughtful addition.

Halo Glow - Bubbly – Listed Value $12.00

As we’re deep into winter, my summer glow is long gone, and I’m definitely in need of a little color! That’s why I was so happy to receive the Halo Glow “Bubbly” Face Stick.

Though it has a slightly waxy scent, it applies easily and blends beautifully to create a natural-looking blush. As you can see in the photo, the shade is quite light, but it adds a soft pink glow to my cheeks—exactly what I was going for. I was also impressed with its staying power; it lasted all day!

Disco Queen - Night Fever - Listed Value $14.00

The next item I received was a stunning lip gloss. I usually prefer clear glosses since I often wear smoky eye makeup, but this month I discovered a gorgeous gold glitter gloss—and I’m obsessed!

Although the photo makes it look mostly clear, in natural sunlight it reveals a beautiful gold shimmer. It’s fun to wear on its own, but it also works perfectly as a topper. Once again, I was thrilled to receive another Medusa-branded product and hope they continue including their own items in future boxes!

Love Byrd Tinted Lip Balm - Pout - Listed Value $10.00

The last item I received wasn’t Medusa’s Makeup branded and honestly wasn’t my favorite. It was a lip balm from Love Byrd, and I wasn’t a fan of the brown nude color. While it applied okay, it had a waxy texture and an unusual scent. Overall, it felt cheap and isn’t something I would choose to buy for myself.

The Verdict

This month’s curation from Medusa’s Make-Up was a really fun mix. While it was a bit lip-heavy, I loved all of the Medusa-branded items. My favorite was definitely the watermelon-scented lip oil, but I also enjoyed the blush, gold gloss, and eyeshadow.

Although I wasn’t a fan of the lip balm, I understand that not every month can be a complete win. I’m happy to see that four out of the five items were from their own brand. That said, next month I’d love to see some pastel colors and a little glitter, please!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You'll likely receive the April box. Some past boxes are also available for a one-time purchase here.

Value Breakdown: I estimate I received $64.00 worth of items this month with these five items. This is more than double the cost of the box! That's a good value for $25.95.
