February is here, and I am so ready for winter to be over. While we’ve been staying extra busy and time is flying by, I’m in desperate need of some nice weather and a good germ purge! After an especially hectic weekend, I was ready to wave my white surrender flag, light my candle, and just relax. Thankfully, this month’s Vellabox arrived just in time to help me unwind. If the soft flicker of candlelight and soothing scents help you relax like they do for me, I can’t recommend this subscription enough. Love is definitely in the air this February, and I’m absolutely loving this month’s Vellabox curation! With a beautiful quote and a generous touch of red roses, it’s clear this box was made for Valentine’s Day. My husband and I don’t usually exchange gifts for the holiday, so receiving this sweet treat in the mail was such a delightful surprise.
I especially appreciate the reusable rose satchel that the wax was enclosed in—it’s such a thoughtful touch. And the candle itself? Perfection. The scent, aptly named “Valentine,” blends juicy strawberry, oak, vanilla crème, and apricot nectar, creating a fragrance that’s both sweet and sexy—just right for the holiday of love. It has a lovely scent throw, gently filling our entryway, kitchen, and living room, making the whole space feel romantic and relaxing.
Another thing I love is the candle’s simple, understated design, which coordinates beautifully with all of my home decor. It’s just one of those candles that’s perfect for any setting.
As someone who’s become more mindful of what I bring into my home, I’ve swapped out mass-produced, chemical-laden candles for high-quality, premium options. This subscription is so much fun! I really enjoy the surprise inclusions, and this month, Vellabox sent a body oil that features the same scent as the candle of the month! Perfect for a romantic Valentine’s date night, this body oil has notes of strawberry, oak, vanilla crème, and apricot nectar—just like the candle. Stored in a glass vial with a dropper, it applies smoothly and absorbs beautifully into the skin. It’s perfect for massages, leaving the skin soft with a subtle, lasting scent. I absolutely love it!

Vellabox is a fabulous subscription and one I look forward to receiving each and every month. Since I burn candles almost every day, it’s important to me that they’re free of toxins and harmful ingredients. Vellabox does an excellent job of curating small brands that are not only safe to use but smell incredible too! This month’s Valentine scent was absolutely perfect for the upcoming holiday and included some of my very favorite scent notes. With the addition of the Spotify playlist and the amazingly scented body oil, my month felt complete. I already can’t wait to see what’s in store for March!
