Beauty Heroes is a clean beauty subscription box that focuses on non-toxic ingredients for $58.95/month. Each month they send you one new full-sized “hero” product in the face, body, hair, or sun care category accompanied by "deluxe sidekicks."

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

The monthly Beauty Heroes delivery comes in a white box with a red-dotted sticker sealing it. Inside, our products of the month fit perfectly with the brown crinkle paper needed for it to arrive safely.

Osmia Skincare feels like where thoughtful science meets slow, soul-centered self-care. Founded by a physician who understands that skin health is deeply connected to whole-body wellness, the brand takes a quieter, more intentional approach to daily routines. Every formula is carefully composed, ingredient by ingredient, to support skin in a way that feels steady and restorative rather than aggressive or trend-driven.

Beauty Heroes sometimes pulls together a ritual that includes past months' products, but since this box is filled with a full routine, it's Osmia all the way!

The Products

Osmia Purely Calm Gel Serum Toner, 50 ml - Retail Value $92

While the routine starts with the mud cleanser and then the toner, this gel toner is our hero product so we're going to highlight it first. It’s more serum than old-school toner, which partly explains the splurge: packed with hyaluronic acid and apple extract to deeply draw in and hold moisture, it leaves skin plump and soothed. White tea, oat, and caper extracts calm redness and inflammation, while aloe vera and niacinamide support barrier health. These are ingredients you don’t often see in basic toners. It’s unscented and alcohol-free, though I catch a very faint aloe scent. The texture is lightweight, gel-smooth, and universally soothing to sensitive skin. It does take a solid 45 seconds or minute to dry on skin, so be prepared not to rush your way through your morning hydration with this one.

Osmia Purely Gentle Mud Cleanser, 75 ml - Retail Value $64

This mud cleanser is a great daily detox. It's earthy yet soothing, with a creamy, mildly foamy texture that deeply cleans (without stripping, as you can expect from mud-based skincare). It's not at all thick and gloopy like a mud mask...it uses glacial oceanic clay to draw out impurities and refine pores, while organic aloe, chamomile, honey, and licorice root extract calm, hydrate, and support sensitive skin. It removes sunscreen and makeup effectively, leaving skin soft and plump rather than tight. Although this product's packed with natural clays and essential oils I still get a somewhat aloe-y scent from it. It took me by surprise but at least you won't find any artificial fragrance in there, and that feels grounding.

Osmia Purely Simple Face Cream, 50 ml - Retail Value $62

This face cream is so gentle, it's amazing it's as effective as it is. It seems perfect for sensitive and reactive skin. Aloe vera and plant-derived glycerin lock in moisture, while apricot kernel, jojoba, and sweet almond oils soften and help reinforce the skin’s natural barrier. Vitamin E and trace calming essential oils like rose, chamomile, and neroli subtly soothe redness without overwhelming scent...but yet again the aloe theme is strong, and that's what I notice when I smooth this cream on. The texture is light and absorbs cleanly, layering beautifully over the toner, but it could also go under serums or other creams. It’s a simple, nourishing everyday cream that quietly supports healthier skin.

Osmia Lip Doctor, 1g- Retail Value $12

This might be the smallest potato in the box, but it’s my true hero product—I reach for it constantly and my lips are genuinely nourished by it. This lip balm has only six ultra-simple, organic ingredients including lavender-infused olive oil, cocoa butter, avocado and argan oils, so it soothes dry, sensitive lips without irritation and lasts way longer than most balms. It’s free of essential oils and castor oil, which is all too rare. Smooth application, reliable hydration, and effortlessly soft results make this guy a daily staple.

Verdict

These Osmia picks feel less like a routine and more like a reset for stressed-out skin. The Mud Cleanser clears away buildup while keeping skin comfortable, the Gel Toner delivers that first surge of soothing hydration, and the Face Cream brings everything back into balance with soft, breathable moisture. The little Lip Doctor ended up being the product I use most, keeping lips happy around the clock. Each formula stands strong alone, but as a set they help skin feel calmer, steadier, and healthier overall. With a combined value of $230, the collection feels like a smart, feel-good routine.
