Looking for a fashionable start to your new year? If you haven’t tried Stitch Fix already, now is the perfect time! Our readers consistently rate Stitch Fix the best clothing subscription box, and for good reason. They help you find your style, all while providing quality, affordable clothing that fits you. And they offer a large range of sizes - so it’s great for everyone!
I find the new year can be really exciting - I love catching up with friends and family and planning our future together. That’s exactly why now is a great time to try Stitch Fix. One of my favorite parts about Stitch Fix is that I can order a Fix on a recurring basis or have the option of requesting one for a special event or when I’m in the mood for a Themed Fix.
You’ve already made so many decisions
With my family spread far and wide, I’ve been planning the holidays since October. Throw in school events for both my kids and me, and the end of the year was such a whirlwind. Decision fatigue is real, and using Stitch Fix was such a relief. I wrote a note to my stylist about the types of events I was attending, and my most recent Fix ensured I had clothes that were appropriate for each occasion. I felt perfectly dressed for all my events - from orchestra concerts to sledding.
And it’s not just the style that was spot on. My clothes fit just right. There was no thinking about how I should have hemmed those pants or taken in that top. Working with my stylist has ensured that my clothes fit. I even learned some tips on what flatters me for when I go shopping on my own (like avoiding black around my face).
While people won’t mention anything if you look just fine, people notice when you have style. I can’t even count the compliments that I have gotten on my new outfits - and not just from friends. The barista at my regular cafe mentioned how she loved my winter wardrobe. Even my mother complimented me.
Reflect on your look
New Year’s resolutions exist for a reason - it’s the perfect time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. Maybe you love your style, maybe you don’t. But there is always room for improvement! And with each season comes something new and exciting in the world of fashion.
While my StyleFile knows me pretty well, I like to review it every few months to see if my look has changed. Also, I like to incorporate newer trends into my basic wardrobe, and this is a great way to stay up to date. Thank you, Stitch Fix for teaching me what a dolman sleeve was - once I learned the name, I suddenly saw them everywhere!
Spring clothes are in
While we’ve already had two snow days and it’s regularly below zero, I know that spring is right around the corner. I love my chunky sweaters and jewel-toned corduroy, but I’m also ready for some light and breezy spring fashion!
I’ve been seeing some pastel tops in my feed that are giving me that “we are almost defrosting” vibe and making me excited to see what else is new for the next season and take a bit of the chill out of the air. Trying on a Fix with lighter-weight clothes will definitely lift my mood and get me excited about the year to come.
Bonus - Cash in those gift cards
I don’t like (trust) other people buying clothes for me, so Stitch Fix gift cards were on my wishlist. If you received some gift cards (like I did), don’t just shove them in your drawer for later…NOW is the perfect time to use them!
The new year brings new energy and a fresh start. Make your 2026 look great by trying Stitch Fix!
