First Impressions
I absolutely adore kitty cats! In my 37 years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 17 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
Although I love most animals, cats are where it's at for me! I only have one precious feline, but I absolutely adore this subscription. Seeing this purple cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in white tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more, plus you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the items, this box also included an info sheet—and guess what?! The custom artwork is back! After a few months of receiving a plain-colored content card, we’ve been graced once again with kitty art. This postcard was created by PurrfectPrints25 and features the cutest little calico looking out the window. While it’s not technically an included item, I’ve really missed this feature and have loved having this pop of color on my fridge! 🐾

My Cat is a National Treasure Sweatshirt - Listed Value $34.99
We haven’t received a sweatshirt in a while, so I was really excited about this inclusion. While I might not have chosen a white sweatshirt for myself—since it’s hard to keep clean—I really love the simple black font and message. The fabric is extremely soft, and the medium unisex sizing fits perfectly.
Paired with my black heated vest, it looks super cute and feels like a sweet nod to my love for Miley—because let’s be honest, she’s officially a national treasure!
Cozy Glow Shelf Kitty - Listed Value $17.99
I love, love, love lights, so receiving this shelf kitten was absolutely perfect! Made from white plastic, you simply plug in the USB cord and voilà—a pink outline of a sleeping cat lights up. While I originally had it displayed by my TV, it’s now found a home in my classroom, where it adds a fun, glowing vibe that the kids adore.
This was such a fun and unexpected inclusion—something a little different yet totally exciting—and I really enjoyed it!
Kitty Cat Pens - Retail Value $7.99
I work at a school, so writing utensils are where it’s at for me. This month, I received a set of three kitty pens, and they’re absolutely adorable. Featuring tiny nibs and little cat caps, these pastel pens are the perfect nod to cat lovers. With three different faces, these little guys even have tails!
While I did give one away to a student who asked, I still have the other two and love using them to write my notes each and every day. 🐱✍️
Hot Cocoa Meowmallow Catnip Toy - Retail Value $7.99
Every month, we also receive a couple of cat toys, and while Miley enjoys sniffing a little catnip, Charlie actually had more fun checking this one out than she did. Featuring a stuffed “cup,” this cat-shaped cocoa mug toy includes a smiling marshmallow on top and a feather for extra fun.
Adorable all around, this was probably one of the cutest toys we’ve ever received. As you can see in the photo, Miley was more interested in hanging out than actually “playing” with it, but she did seem to appreciate the feather. Sweet in design and thoughtfully made, this toy was a definite win.
Purry Puzzle Catnip Toy - Listed Value $4.99
The last item we received was another catnip toy, this one shaped like a colorful puzzle piece. While Miley did rub her face on it, she just wasn’t totally sold. Smaller than some of the other toys, it felt a bit lackluster—especially after the adorable cocoa toy mentioned above.
Even though it wasn’t her favorite, I tucked it into her nest, and she curled up next to it later in the day. What a silly girl!

I love the variety of items and functionality, each and every item I received this month was loved and used!
