You know, some may say that beaded fringe earrings all start to look the same, but I would argue that each pair is distinct. Even similar shapes or patterns totally transform with a new set of colors. That said, I was pretty disappointed when I opened my November box to find a pair of earrings in a colorway that I've been sent many times before. They aren't a duplicate—this silver, blue, navy, rose, and burgundy combo has been sent as hoops, geometric fringes, and even a bracelet. Perhaps if I connected with the cool tones I would feel more excited. But this pair just does nothing for me. Well, I suppose it works out that it's gifting season anyway!
Despite my dismay, I popped this pair on to show you how they look with a simple, everyday top. Truly, they can be tossed on with anything and carry an outfit. Since the silver beads dazzle, they strike a nice balance for holiday dinners or parties in someone's home, when you want to spiff up a bit but will still end up plopping on the couch with your cousins.
The Verdict
November's INK+ALLOY earrings win points for being beaded and fringed, but this repeated color scheme is feeling tired for me. I have a very similar pair that I reach for often, so I'll feel good gifting these to a friend who's more of a silver-wearer.
