CatLadyBox is a monthly subscription box for cat ladies (or anyone who is crazy about cats)! The $35.99 per month CatLadyBox has 2-3 cat-themed items – wearables, items for the home, books, etc., while the $39.99 per month Crazy CatLadyBox contains everything from the CatLadyBox plus a few items just for cats.
This is a review of the Crazy CatLadyBox.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)
First Impressions
I absolutely adore kitty cats! In my 37 years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 17 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
Although I love most animals, cats are where it's at for me! I only have one precious feline, but I absolutely adore this subscription. Seeing this purple cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in white tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the items, this box also includes an info sheet—and guess what?! The custom artwork is back! After a few months of receiving a plain-colored content card, we were treated to a lovely illustration of a kitty reading in a book nook, created by Rose Tamani. While it’s not technically an included item, I’ve really missed this feature and have enjoyed seeing this pop of color on my fridge!
The Breakdown – What’s Inside This Crazy Cat Lady Box
Feline Fall Super-Soft Tee - Listed Value $24.99
The first item we received was a t-shirt! This month’s unisex medium tee is made of an ultra-soft blend of ring-spun cotton and polyester, and it is so cute. The color is a wonderful nod to fall—a perfect mix of red and orange—with a small kitty clipart design on the front chest. On the back, a deep red window graphic features a cat sitting inside with a few leaves drifting by. The print is subtle but very charming.
Paired with black pants or jeans, it makes for a great casual look that’s cute without being over the top. The color is one of my favorites, and I really like this month’s version!
Fluffy Cat Accent Rug - Listed Value $21.99
The next item I received was this fuzzy little cat accent rug. Made from soft, plush faux fur, the white rug is a surprisingly generous size and absolutely adorable. It isn’t sewn around the edges, so it has slightly rough borders, though they’re not noticeable from the top.
I originally had it laid out on my area rug, but when my mom visited for Hank’s birthday, she immediately fell in love with it and took it home with her. Pictured here is my mom’s cat, Princess, washing her toes on the newly claimed rug. It turns out she loves it just as much as my mom does—it’s already become her new favorite resting spot.
Black Cat Nightlight - Retail Value $19.99
Up next was a really cute item that’s also very functional—a plug-in nightlight featuring a black cat silhouette in a walking pose. It turns on and off with a simple flip of a switch. I’d been needing a new nightlight for our porch, and this one was perfect for the spot I had in mind! It’s a subtle little nod to being a cat lover, and I think it’s absolutely adorable.
Purr-tato Chips Catnip Toy - Retail Value $7.99
At the end of last month, Miley became quite sick, and for a while it looked like we might be saying goodbye to my old girl. Thankfully, after two weeks she made a full recovery and is back to her spunky little self. Is she playing with toys? Not really—but she did enjoy the smell of this chip-shaped catnip toy and seemed intrigued by the crunchy sound it makes. The design is really cute, and while she doesn’t actively play with it, she does enjoy laying on it. It’s one of my favorites from this month!
Barry Bookworm Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
The last item we received was another catnip toy, and it was just as adorable as the first! I absolutely love the embroidered worm face with its little glasses—Barry looks so studious. Miley gave this one a few sniffs but ultimately decided her brother Scout was more interesting than her new toys. She’s always been more of a snuggler anyway!

Isn’t this girl just the cutest? In this picture, her eyes remind me of Puss in Boots from the Shrek movies!

The Cost: $34.99 per month (with a 6-month plan)+ free US shipping. Month-to-month cost is $38.99.

- Rug: $21.99
- Nightlight: $19.99

Everything in this box is bespoke to the subscription, so I have to go by listed values (though some of the products will be available for sale in the CatLadyBox shop!) The values add up to $80.95 this month, which is valued at quite a bit more than the cost of the box! I love the variety of items and functionality, each and every item I received this month was loved and used!
Key Takeaways
Cats are my absolute favorite animal (especially when my dogs are being extra naughty), and I love adding fun cat-themed items to my everyday life—which is exactly where CatLadyBox shines. I’m always excited to receive this subscription and can’t wait to see what shirt arrives each month. This month’s tee and nightlight are things I can use daily, and my mom is absolutely obsessed with the accent rug. And while the toys don’t get much actual play at my house, they’ll happily be passed along to a kitty—or boy—who will love them!
If you enjoy fun, cat-themed items and want a monthly treat for yourself and your feline friend, this subscription is perfect. I can’t wait to see what December brings!
