November is here, and while I usually dislike the early darkness, I’m actually appreciating it this year—I really just need some time to slow down and relax. With insanely busy schedules and a to-do list a mile long, I’ve been longing for quiet evenings on the couch, surrounded by candlelight. This month’s Vellabox arrived just in time to help create those calm, cozy nights after long, hectic days. November’s quote really resonated with me—it was a gentle reminder to not take each day for granted and to savor every single moment.
Aromatherapy plays a big role in my relaxation routine, and after busy days, this subscription is exactly what I need. Life has been hard lately, so I’ve been in dire need of some relaxation and self-care. One of my favorite ways to unwind is by running a hot bath and lighting a candle. Not only is the flame soothing, but the scent evokes an instant sense of calm. Nothing sets the mood quite like the soft flicker of a flame, and the clean-burning candle brands Vellabox collaborates with are second to none when it comes to melting the day’s tension away.
Because so many candles contain harmful ingredients, I’ve made the switch from cheap, mass-produced options to high-quality, premium candles that are free from all those nasty chemicals. This month’s candle is made with sustainable soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and 100% cotton wicks.

This subscription is so much fun! I love the small surprise items Vellabox includes each month, and this month’s item has multiple uses! Measuring 21" x 21", this brilliant blue bandana features the phrase “Shine Bright” with little white x’s in a clean script font. Gorgeous in both color and style, it can be used like any other bandana—but it also doubles as reusable gift wrap. I love the concept and definitely plan to try it this year… though I’m a little more behind than usual. Whoops!

Vellabox is a fabulous subscription and one I look forward to receiving each and every month. Since I burn candles almost every day, it’s important to me that they’re free of toxins and harmful ingredients. Vellabox does an excellent job of curating small brands that are not only safe to use but smell incredible too! This month’s Indigo scent was absolutely perfect for creating a calm space and included some of my very favorite scent notes. With the addition of the Spotify playlist and the neat bandana, my month felt complete. I already can’t wait to see what’s in store for December!
