This month’s box was all about transitioning into fall and one key theme: renewal. Hydration, barrier repair, and gentle exfoliation, aka all the things my combo skin is craving right now. My skin’s been thriving lately (smooth, glowy, hydrated), but I’ve got a few stubborn blemishes I’m trying to fade, so this box couldn’t have come at a better time. Let’s get into it and see if everything lived up to the promise.
BomiBox is a monthly Korean beauty subscription box. Each month, you get eight full-sized and deluxe K-beauty products across skincare, makeup, and body care.
This is a review of BomiBox Luxe, which is $39.99 per month.

What’s Inside:
APLB Spicule Collagen Shot 300 Serum – Retail Value $8.33
This was the one I was most curious about. It reminded me of the Reedle Shot but in serum form: same spicule concept, just lighter. It’s surprisingly sticky at first (almost like a thick essence), which I actually liked because it makes application feel more controlled. Once it settles, the tackiness fades and leaves my skin slightly plump with that “glass skin” bounce. The Centella complex really stands out here and it feels soothing, especially after cleansing. If you’ve been wanting to test the spicule trend but your skin tends to be sensitive, this is a good, gentle entry point.
B:LAB Matcha Hydrating Foam Cleanser – Retail Value $7.14
I laughed when I opened this because we actually got the same cleanser in the July box but I didn’t mind at all. This is one of those products I’ll happily use again. The texture is so fun: thick and mochi-like when you first squeeze it out, then it whips into a soft, creamy foam that feels lush without being drying. My skin feels clean, never stripped, which is exactly what I want during fall when my barrier needs a little extra care.
Jumiso Waterfull Hyaluronic Serum (20ml) – Retail Value $12.50 (50ml)
A simple, hydrating serum that does what it says. It layers beautifully and gives that quick glassy finish but I have to say, the packaging is a mess. The liquid is super runny, and the design just isn’t made for it. The first time I opened it, I lost about a quarter of the product. Still, I love how it sinks in quickly and plays well under moisturizer. If you need a lightweight HA that won’t pill, this is it.
Medicube Triple Collagen Toner – Retail Value $19.47
I love toners that feel like skincare, not just water, and this one hits that balance. It’s light but slightly cushiony, like a soft veil of moisture that preps your skin for everything else. I’ve started soaking cotton pads and using it as a quick DIY sheet mask, and it gives that instant glow boost before moisturizer. Definitely a new layering favorite.
SKIN1004 Zombie Beauty Bloody Peel – Retail Value $8.90
This one honestly shocked me in the best way. At 17% AHA, I braced myself for tingling or redness, but it was so gentle. The texture feels like a thin gel and spreads easily without dripping. After rinsing, my skin looked fresh, smooth, and not even slightly irritated. It’s like the K-beauty version of The Ordinary peel but your barrier actually survives. I’m already planning to use it twice a week to help with texture and those tiny blemishes that won’t quit.
Farm Stay Real Lychee Essence + Visible Difference Acerola Sheet Mask – Retail Value $1.98

Farm Stay masks are always a win for me. The fit is great, the fabric clings to the face without sliding off, and I can easily customize it with small cuts around my nose and chin. The essence has that juicy, slightly fruity scent and feels cooling when applied. After 15 minutes, my skin felt hydrated and smooth, with a faint sheen that made me skip moisturizer altogether that night.
Was this Box Worth It?

The Cost: $39.99
Total Retail Value: $60.30
Absolutely. This curation made sense for fall with hydration, exfoliation, and barrier care all in one. The only real con was the Jumiso packaging (still annoying). A few items are older releases, but they performed beautifully and fit the renewal theme perfectly.
After testing everything, my skin feels calm and balanced with that mix of bouncy and smooth that makes me want to skip foundation. If you’re in your skin barrier repair era like I am, this box nailed it.
