First Impressions
We’re already halfway through November, and our schedules are really ramping up. Our family had a rough start to the month, and now that basketball season is beginning, we’re working hard to stay focused and on top of everything—but it’s tough! Because I’ve been extra stressed, I was especially excited to receive this month’s Bath Bevy “Hygge” box. Filled with indulgent, relaxing goodies, this subscription never disappoints. Keep reading to see what makes it so amazing!
Unlike some subscription boxes, this blue and white box presents beautifully. Not only does this box have some serious weight to it, but it also boasts theme-coordinating tissue paper (look at those sweet little mushrooms this month!), a sweetly placed sticker, and crinkle paper! These small but thoughtful touches make this truly feel like I am opening a gift, which makes it all the more fun! Besides the items, Bath Bevy also includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Apple Cinnamon Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8.00
Here at our house, we love bath bombs. Adding one of these mega bombs to the tub is a special treat, and this apple cinnamon version did not leave us disappointed. Quite large and featuring the cutest silver sprinkles, this bath bomb is utterly gorgeous and seriously smells like fresh apple pie! Leaving the water a blood red color, my husband was a little disgusted, but my son was thrilled! While I wanted to try this bath bomb out myself, Charlie talked me into letting him have it and he really did enjoy it. The only down side of this fizzy is that it did stain the sides of our tub a little bit. Easy enough to scrub off, it wasn't a huge deal as the magnificent smell more than made up for it!
Oatmeal, Milk and Honey Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8.00
The second bath bomb I received was a lot less colorful than the first, but created a creamy, silky bath like no other! Utilizing honey, creamy milk, and warm oats, the scent of this bomb was a lot less dramatic than the apple cinnamon version, but was still much appreciated. With flecks of oats packed into this fizzy, a warm, soothing oasis was created. Truly, my skin was left extra soft and silky, and the subtle scent was a perfect addition to a pretty stressful Thursday night!
Marshmallows by the Fire Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15.00
I love a good soap scrub, and Bath Bevy definitely makes some of the best. This month’s version is bright blue and features notes of marshmallow, woods, and vanilla. Made with coarse sugar, it exfoliates the skin while moisturizing at the same time. The kids love using it to scrub their feet, but I especially appreciate it for exfoliating before shaving. Another great inclusion—we always use this scrub up!
Hygge Happy Bubble Bath - Retail Value $12.00
While bath bombs are my favorite, I still enjoy a traditional bubble bath from time to time. This month, we received a lovely bottle of “Happy Hygge” bubble bath. Featuring notes of ripe pear, vanilla bean, toasted maplewood, and amber, this musky blend has a warm, cozy scent that’s incredibly relaxing. It truly smells like pear cider and has me craving a delicious drink to pair with a hot bath!
The kids were fans of this inclusion as well, and they appreciate that it can be used for multiple baths—unlike bath bombs, which are a one-time treat.
"Let's Hygge" Bubble Salt by Two Wild Hares - Retail Value $10.00
The next item we received was a nicely sized, resealable pouch of bubble salt. I love this inclusion because, like the bubble bath, it can be used for multiple baths. It has a light, earthy scent that’s incredibly relaxing. I especially love the salt because it leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed after drying off. A fun addition to my tub, this has really helped me unwind and calm down before bed.
Lavender Chamomile Epsom Salt - Retail Value $16.00
The last item we received was a large bag of Lavender Chamomile Epsom Salt. This coarse magnesium sulfate has the most relaxing scent and includes two of my favorite helpers for managing anxiety! The combination creates an incredibly moisturizing and calming bath. Perfect for soaking after a long day, my muscles genuinely felt better afterward. This was such a soothing addition to the box and included enough for multiple relaxing baths for the whole family!
