Opening The Box
Hello all, I'll be taking over the UNDISCOVERED Artisan Box for Kat. I've always admired this box through Kat's reviews, but the first thing that struck me when it first arrived is the quality, starting from the way it was packaged. The Winter 2026 Box was delightfully wrapped like a present with a fabric band and a shiny bow. Inside, everything was neatly packed for a safe delivery.
What's Inside The Box
This quarter we're being taken on a journey through some of Peru's beautiful handmade offerings. This fold-out pamphlet includes an interview with one of the makers, Edison Canal, whose alpaca blend hand warmers are included in this box.
I just so happened to know that Peru is the leading supplier of alpaca wool—I was gifted an alpaca wool sweater for Christmas one year, and its incredible, itch-free softness prompted me to look into it. It's considered to be warmer and softer than sheep's wool, and it's naturally moisture-wicking and wind-resistant. Perfect for living in the Andes!
And, here is a postcard from whomever packed my box, "sent with love." I have always enjoyed seeing different handwriting from around the world, so this feels like a really cool, personal touch. Ready to dig into the quarter's products?
Diamond-Patterned Acrylic Alpaca Blend Throw Blanket, "Diamond Mine in Gold" by Nestor Yana — Retail Value: $59.99
I'm a lover of color, and nothing beats the sunny happiness of this goldenrod hue. My winter coat is this color, that's how committed I am. The diamond weave of this blanket is quite intricate! And despite how luxurious the fabric feels, it's machine washable. Big win. I chose to have NOVICA surprise me with what would come inside my box, but this blanket feels personally selected for me. What a thrill!

I'm really into this color combo and how it ties into my rug below. Despite how lightweight this throw is, it's super warm. I'm going to be snuggling up under it every evening for the foreseeable future, you can count on that.
Handcrafted Geometric Round Ceramic Palo Santo Burner, "Ancestral Constellation" by Jesus Rivas — Retail Value: $23.99
I've received a number of incense burners in subscriptions over the years, and just as many or more sticks of palo santo, but never a palo santo burner. The artist created this piece in the Vicus style, which is an ancient Peruvian culture that used resist techniques on their pottery. The earthy colors and geometric patterns on this holder go well with my home. I provided the piece of palo santo in the photo above (it did not come with the holder in this box), and it fit in the stand easily and sturdily. I'll definitely burn more palo santo now that I have somewhere to put it!
Knit Floral Blue and Black Wool Coin Purse with Zipper, "Lunar Petals" by Alicia Huaman — Retail Value: $17.99
I never run out of uses for zipper pouches. The bright blues and contrasting leaves of this pouch's florals are perfection. My first thought was that they remind me of an embroidered belt my mum used to wear, and when I clicked on this maker's artist page, I see that she makes belts, as well. The headbands are great, too! I may tuck a couple pairs of earrings in this pouch for traveling, or I might pack it with a few cough drops for my 7-year-old daughter to carry in her backpack. Cold season might feel less brutal with something this lovely involved.
Knit Alpaca and Wool Blend Fingerless Mitts in Peacock Green, "Peacock Epoch" by Edison Canal — Retail Value: $19.99
These fingerless gloves are the creation of Edison Canal who was interview in the pamphlet above. Just as we've come to learn about alpaca wool, they're soft and thin but incredibly warm. As far as the design goes, there's not much finger coverage, so in the depths of winter they may end up serving as a liner for heavier gloves or mittens. In the meantime, I'm appreciating wearing them on dog walks, and when my husband saw them he said, "perfect for playing guitar by the campfire!"
Sterling Silver Squared Modern Hoop Earrings, "Goddess of the Lakes" by Luis Banda — Retail Value: $29.99
Finally for this quarter are square hoop earrings. They're understated and classic, and yet they still feel fresh and unique. They're made from polished Andean sterling silver. Like all the other handcrafted items in this box, they're just one of many gorgeous creations in this maker's catalog. I have my mother-in-law in mind for these earrings, as she's drawn to styles a little outside the norm without being too loud. Perfect for her, don't you think?
Value
The 5 items in this box add up to a retail value of $151.95, which is a little shy of the $200 minimum promise, but still a fantastic value for a $59.99 box. Add on the fact that you're supporting artisans from across the world (without having to pay for shipping for each individual item, at that), and you're getting to enjoy ethically made goods to keep or gift, and you've got a good thing going on.
The Verdict
I very much enjoyed my first UNDISCOVERED Artisan Box and already know I'll be eagerly awaiting the next one. It's hard to pick a favorite item, as they all felt hand selected for me personally and I know each will be used very frequently.
To Wrap Up
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! As of this review's publication, the Autumn/Winter 2025 box is still available and you can customize your choices.
