PinkSeoul Plus Box Review September/October 2025

Let's see if these hidden gems live up to their expectations!

Alright, I might not recognize as many brands as I'd like from this box. But, and this is a big but, isn't that what it's all about? I was really excited to discover some not-so-popular gems hidden within. Today, we're diving into the September/October 2025 PinkSeoul Plus Box to see if these hidden gems truly deliver or if these are more filler products.

First Impressions

The box arrived in perfect shape, nice and snug as always. I really cannot complain.

What’s Inside

Skinfood Licorice Soothing Pads – Retail Value $24.57

Okay, let’s start with the obvious: how cute is this packaging! The pads themselves are great; they felt super soft and were absolutely drenched in toner.

There's a soft side for hydrating and a textured side for exfoliation. It has a very herbal/botanical scent, but then again, with herbal blends in its ingredients, it's nothing too alarming. My skin isn't particularly fond of licorice, so I won't be including this in my routine.

I would say, just be mindful with these pads; while they're very soft, I did notice some leftover threads on my skin after using them for exfoliation.

Skinfood Strawberry Sugar Food Mask – Retail Value $14.19

The second product from SKINFOOD, this one is a face mask. Okay… I have a lot to say about this one. First, yes, it smells amazing, but the scent was intense: think body scrub, Bath & Body Works-store-level strong.

On another note, while it claims "pore cleanse," this is a pretty rough scrub; initially, I even thought it was for the lips. You can see the sugar granules, so even if you don't have sensitive skin, I feel this would be too intense for the face.

Lastly, and I swear I'll stop here, this actually leaves a noticeable strawberry scent lingering on your skin. As I said, it's great for your body, but I'm not so sure about the face. I was not impressed with this product.

Enough Collagen Whitening Premium Eye Cream – Retail Value $10

This is a brand I don’t recognize. It looks like your typical drugstore product. One thing though, this came without any seals, which is rare to see. Most Korean products, in my experience, are sealed. Now, this is supposed to be an eye cream, but the texture is quite thick, and it does have a heavy scent. So, if your skin is sensitive (and most eye area skin is), proceed with caution.

AXIS-Y Biome Radiating Intensified Essence – Retail Value $28.50

Okay, a brand I know and love! Despite the rather unusual name for this product, "biome radiating" is one of the craziest marketing terms I've seen in skincare to date—this product is actually very interesting.

It has a medium-weight, velvety consistency that felt fabulous on the skin and absorbed almost instantly. And it's basically a probiotic-rich serum, something that's always welcome in my routine and I feel everyone should have.

Round Lab Vita Niacinamide Dark Spot Serum Mask – Retail Value $5.30

Wow, $5 for a single sheet mask? I'm speechless. There's no way on earth I'd ever justify a sheet mask being that expensive. Instead, I'll talk about the serum because it’s one that I’ve tried in the past.

Overall, it's an excellent product to have if you have dull skin. I know this says “dark spot,” but truthfully, after using two bottles, my spots didn't drastically change. What did change was the overall tone of my skin and a brighter complexion overall. The serum, I'd recommend as an investment; the mask? Not so much.

Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Revitalizing Mask – Retail Value $2.78

The Black Tea line is one of the very few I like from Pyunkang Yul. I was happy to see this mask, especially since the eye cream from this line was sublime. I do like this a lot, and I think the mask itself fits just perfectly. This is one of those simple, hydrating, no-fuss masks to always keep on hand.

Was This Box Worth It?

Value Breakdown: $85.34

I was, for once, genuinely happy with this box. I loved that they included not-so-mainstream brands this time, yet we still got an icon like the AXIS-Y serum. I can also appreciate that they included different options, like pads and scrubs, compared to the usual "million serums." While I wouldn't say this was an eye-opening or outstanding box, I have to say it was worth it. I'm definitely using the biome serum and repurposing the scrub as a body one instead.
