Eco-Chic Makeup Bag - Retail Value $12
This month's bag design is interesting. I have always loved whales, and the funky coral and lighthouse design in the middle is also cute. The quote really made me think. These bags have a canvas exterior with a shiny interior, which is easy to wipe clean.
Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics - Dream Palette in "Nightingale" - Retail Value $20
This month's eyeshadow palette features four soft hues that blend seamlessly into one another like a dream. They're made for each other, so using them for an eyelook is really foolproof. They are soft, creamy, and a pleasure to use.
So Susan Cosmetics - Liquid Crystal - Retail Value $21.95
I've never been a fan of liquid lipstick. I am relieved to see that the matte lip look is fading into the past (where it belongs), but I do think that liquid lipsticks do serve other purposes. When I want wear a juicy lip look that will last all day, I will reach for a matte lip, like this rust-hued beauty, and I'll use it as a base color. After a precise application, I can layer gloss over it all day long and the color remains intact.
So Susan Cosmetics - Light Odyssey in "Rave" - Retail Value $26
Stick makeup is a revelation that I will never get over. When you're in a rush, you can glide this multi-tasking stick on your cheekbones, give it a quick blend with your finger, and your blush and highlight are done in a snap. This golden coral shade is to die for--I only wish I had it all summer long!
Trifle Cosmetics - Glow Icing - Retail Value $19
I was shocked at how buttery these highlight shades are. Glow Icing is such an appropriate name for this product, due to its frosty pigments and the way they melt into the skin. I typically go for more of a glossy highlight, so I'll likely be using these as eyeshadow shades. I love the pink tone for highlighting the inner corner of my eye, and the bronze shade is great for a wash of color all over the lid.
BONUS ITEM : Peony Cosmetics - Wonder Bloom in "Golden Vervain" - Retail Value $15
I love this duo of shades, not only for their warm, fall hues, but the formula is buttery soft; it makes blending it out a walk in the park. It is so easy to use your finger to swipe on all over the eyelid for a warm shimmery look, or you can build it up for a fun pop of color.

Verdict
September's So Susan Color Curate had a fun array of products for fall. I love the buttery pigments and shimmery hues made for autumn. I am also a huge fan of this month's Light Odyssey, and I can't wait to put it to good use. August's bag's retail value comes to $113.95; you're getting five full-sized products and a bag for $20.95, a great deal.
