It’s July, and we’re well into our summer vacation. It’s flying by, but we’re getting so much done and making tons of fun memories! Aromatherapy plays a big role in my relaxation routine, and after long, busy days, this subscription is exactly what I need. Candles are seriously my fave. Nothing creates ambiance quite like the soft flicker of a flame, and the clean-burning candle brands that Vellabox collaborates with are second to none when it comes to melting the day’s tension away. Since many candles contain harmful ingredients, I’ve made the switch from cheap, mass-produced options to high-quality, premium candles that are free from all those nasty chemicals. This month’s candle is made with sustainable coconut soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and 100% cotton wicks. The scent I received, Sunflowers + Citrus, features the most amazing notes of mandarin orange, sunflower, and suede I’ve ever experienced. As an educator, I love school supplies, so I was especially excited to see this tiny notebook included as July’s secret item. Covered in silky fabric, this striped journal measures 4" x 3" and even includes a little ribbon bookmark. With lined pages, it’s perfect for writing lists or jotting down quick notes. I’ve been using it to keep track of addresses, and I absolutely love the design. A great little inclusion—it’s already come in handy on multiple occasions.

Vellabox is a fabulous subscription, and one I look forward to receiving each and every month. Because I burn candles almost everyday, I must utilize ones that are free of toxins and harmful ingredients. Vellabox does a fabulous job at choosing small brands that not only are safe to use, but smell amazing too! This month's sunflower and citrus scent was absolutely decadent, and was a perfect nod to the summer season. Add the Spotify playlist and mini notebook, and my month was made complete! I already can't wait to see what's in store for August.
