First Impressions
I absolutely adore kitty cats! In my 36 years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 16 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
Although I love most animals, cats are where it's at for me! I only have one precious feline, but I absolutely adore this subscription. Seeing this purple and brown cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in black tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the items, this box also includes an info sheet featuring custom artwork on the reverse side. This month's art, created by MakitsuNeko, showcases a snoozing orange kitty and is soooo cute! I love this inclusion—while it’s technically just a content card, the artwork is perfect for adding a pop of fun to your fridge or bulletin board!

Take It Easy Tee - Listed Value $22.99
Comfy tees are totally my vibe, and this month’s “Take it Easy” top is one of the softest and coziest we’ve ever received. Featuring a sunbathing brown kitty with a cute pink nose, it’s the perfect embodiment of summer! Compared to previous months, this shirt runs a bit longer, making it a great match for leggings. The fabric is extra soft, and the fit is true to a typical unisex medium. The bright blue color was a refreshing change after a few months of pink and orange tones, and I absolutely love the design. A fantastic start to an exciting box!
Mellow Meow Trucker Hat - Listed Value $16.99
The next item I received was a green and cream ball cap featuring an embroidered "Keep Calm" kitty cat patch. Fun in color, this was unlike any other hat I own, and had the adjustable snap back I prefer. While I do wear a lot of ball caps in the summer due to baseball, they are usually have our team logo, so it will be fun to change it up a bit. Perfect for this month's theme, my son even enjoyed this inclusion. 🤣
Kitty-Soft Cat Scrunchies - Retail Value $6.99
The next item we received was hilarious! This set of two kitten-soft cat scrunchies was unlike any scrunchie I’ve ever used—even back in the ’90s. They’re large, super soft, and have little pointy ears! With two different colors, they were definitely cute, but not something I’d personally use, since I hopped off the scrunchie train a while ago. My son thought they were hilarious and even put them over his ears for a picture. I ended up bringing them to a baseball game and giving them to one of my son’s friend’s sisters and her buddy. They were thrilled to receive these funny little things, and it honestly felt great to share the joy.
Sweet Sunnies Catnip Toy - Retail Value $5.99
The next item we received was a catnip-filled toy shaped like a pair of sunglasses—though flipped over, it could easily be mistaken for a bikini top! With a sunny beach reflection design, it was both cute and fun. Miley is older now and not as playful as she used to be, but she gave it a few curious sniffs while we were outside.
Beachcomber Boot Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
Miley enjoys spending a bit of time outdoors, so I decided to bring this boot toy out with us. Shaped like an adorable little cowboy boot with a beach scene, it was also filled with catnip. Miley spent a bit more time sniffing this toy than the sunglasses one, but she still wasn’t too interested. I ended up packing both toys for my mom to take back to her more playful kitty.

Everything in this box is bespoke to the subscription, so I have to go by listed values (though some of the products will be available for sale in the CatLadyBox shop!) The values add up to $58.95 this month, which is less than previous months, but was still quite a bit more than the cost of the box! I love the variety of items and functionality, each and every item I received this month was loved and used!
