I love how simple Nourish Beauty Box keeps it. There is no literature that I feel pressured to read, just four full-sized products looking back up at me.
Now, on to the items!
Andalou Naturals’ Dark Spot Corrector with 5% Vitamin C - Retail Value $30
I have tried many Andalou products, and they are a great brand that uses ingredients that are certified organic and fair trade. This product has pomegranate stem cells, shitake extract, and caffeine to reduce discoloration, leaving the skin with a healthy glow. The formula is water-like, and the skin is left with a very smooth texture. I like this serum's light texture, which is easy to wear during the day under makeup or under a pile of night cream before bed.
So Susan's Hera Mist - Retail Value $42
I enjoy wearing perfume for my own benefit; a flick of my hair and I am immersed in a calming, almost aromatherapy-esque fragrance. Hera Mist has a lovely fragrance that reminds me of essential oils, but $42 for a small bottle of spray is bananas. I love it when I get such a high-priced item inside a subscription box, but I always hope deep down that I don't totally fall in love with it. Argan oil helps to keep frizz at bay while menthol soothes the scalp.
Seraphine Botanicals’ Love + Light in "Veil" - Retail Value $25
This highlight is a gorgeous cream that can definitely make a statement. The applicator, although a little overzealous at first, is a brush tip that can apply heavily at first but is easy to blend out with your fingers. This pinky-golden shade is unique to anything I have in my collection, and I know I will be reaching for this product a lot this summer.
So Susan’s Fan Brush - Retail Value $19
Fan brushes are underrated for me. I feel like a fancy, delicate lady when I fan on a light dusting of my costly Hourglass Ambient Lighting Strobe Powder. Could I get the same effect using a similar, less exotic brush? Yes, but it is all about the experience for me.
Marigoldbub Gentle Cleanser 3.25oz- Retail Value $
This cleanser is one of this month's box variations. It is, as its name indicates, a gentle cleanser. It didn't strip my skin or make me feel dry, and I love the all-natural Calendula for healing and coconut for nourishment and hydration. This pump bottle was easy to use, and one pump was enough to wash the day off of my face.

Verdict
May's Nourish Beauty Box is a breath of fresh air. The highlight and Dark Spot Serum will be my go-to's for a while, but I am also looking forward to putting my new fan brush to use. May's box retail value comes to $116; you're getting four full-sized products for $39.95, a great deal for anyone looking to expand and enhance their natural beauty arsenal on a budget.
