When life gives you lemons, put on a new face of makeup! I am all about a self-love moment, so I like this "be your own sunshine" motto. So Susan sends the same style bag every month; they are a cinch to wipe clean, and it is easy to fit a day's look inside for easy-peasy, portable access.
Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics - Sofishticated in "Coral Life" - Retail Value $35.00
Jelly Pong Pong makes some fire eyeshadows. The unique, buttery texture helps each color pop, and I am a huge fan of this color story.
Terracotta, green, and a metallic turquoise are the highlights of this palette for me. These shades were easy to use and very pigmented. I was also shocked how these lasted through today's 90 degree weather and a 9-hour work shift; some of the shimmers faded, but I was shocked at the staying power without using a primer.
Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics - Nebula in "Telescope" - Retail Value $22.00
A single eyeshadow has to be special for me to reach for it. Grabbing a palette with every color I need is so much easier, but this formula and color combo is a head-turner. This metallic copper is so intensely pigmented, and it is a gorgeous summer color.
Trifle Cosmetics - Lip Parfait in "Summer Cone" - Retail Value $12.00
I love this silly packaging. Vibrant coral pink is such a staple for me for summer. This formula is buttery and glides on like a dream. The color wasn't as bright as I expected on the lips, but I was relieved. It is easy to wear, and I wasn't worried about needing constant touchups.
Trifle Cosmetics - Atlantis Cookie - Retail Value $12
Buttery smooth and frosty pink, this makes a gorgeous highlight on the cheeks, eyes, lips... pretty much anywhere! Pink highlights are my favorite, and this formula is great because it is easy to blend out subtly or you can pack it on to really stand out.
