Eve Angles Beaded Hoop Earrings Hot Pink — Retail Value $30

We're back, baby! After several months of technical difficulties, we're reconnected with INK+ALLOY, and I couldn't be happier. For April I was sent these burst-of-color beaded hoops. The vibrant pink beads are the most noticeable, but when you look closely the turquoise, chartreuse, and orange ones create nice depth and pattern.

There are some other colorways of the Eve hoops with various ombres, and all are lovely. I always enjoy checking out what other colorways my earrings of the month are offered in, as it's my understanding that INK+ALLOY sends a variety out at random.

I truly have nothing in my wardrobe or accessory collection in this color, but I have a great deal of warm tones that work nicely alongside it. I popped them in with what I was wearing the day they arrived as usual, and they felt great—not heavy and a fun burst of color. I haven't reached for them since, but I'm going to keep them around for the summer and see what happens.

The Verdict

INK+ALLOY has so many creative ideas for how to do hoops! This pair isn't exactly right for me—the bright pink color isn't one I identify with—but I'm still excited to give them a try for something a little different, and if nothing else they'll make for a really fun gift.

Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who's achieved #1000hoursoutside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.
