The magic of December. Vellabox
December is my very favorite month as it holds so much excitement and busyness. That being said, it can also be very overwhelming, rushed, and just plain exhausting. As I immerse myself in this lovely holiday season, almost every square inch of my home is plastered with poinsettias and mini trees and I couldn't wait to see what this month's Vellabox had in store. Encompassing all of the Christmas feels, I not only loved this candle for it's scent, but for it's natural wax and clean burn. The 16 ounce size outlasts any big-box brand candle I have tried, and lasts me the entire month. Not only are the scents incredible, but they also include a surprise gift and Spotify playlist, creating not just a box, but an entire experience.

Shabby chic, simplistic, and perfect for the holiday season is the epitome of this month's Vellabox candle. Featuring a warm caramel-colored glass, and a pretty, simplistic label, I love the look almost as much as I love the fragrance. Hand-poured in Iowa, these candles were created by two friends united by the simple joy of lighting a candle. This particular blend of wax features notes of lemon peel, fir, and evergreen. While I didn't pull much of a lemon note from this candle, I can say it is the utmost perfect version of a Christmas tree scent. This isn't fake like some woodsy candles, but extremely natural and irresistible. With a decent scent throw, this fills up our living and dining room area, and is a fragrance even my husband enjoys! A perfect enhancement to our sparkling lights, this candle makes the room glow!
Like I mentioned above, Radiant Candle Co. creates small-batch candles in the neighborhood of Ottawa, Iowa. Made from 100% soy wax, I feel good about burning this type of candle in my home. With a fragrance like this one, you can bet I will be checking out their other products!

Winter wreaks havoc on my hands, so I was incredibly excited to receive this 2 fl oz container of hand cream. With a name like "Oversized Flannel," I had high hopes, and boy did this fragrance deliver! Featuring notes of mahogany, woods, sweet amber, bergamot, musk, and palo santo, this handsome fragrance really captured my husband's flannel on a crisp winter morning. Going on smooth and easy, this lotion worked into my hands nicely and left a lingering scent. Perfect to have on the go, and I am really loving this aroma!

Vellabox is one of my favorite subscriptions, and this month was my favorite to date. With a fantastic holiday scented candle and the handsome smelling lotion, this box added notes of cheer to my holiday season. Between the candle, free gift, and Spotify playlist, this subscription continues to leave me impressed. I already can't wait to see what's in store for January!
