In addition to 5 other products, you will get a premium full-sized product that will be worth at least $40 on its own. If you are a makeup or skincare addict – we recommend this box!

FYI: Subscription update!

Glam Bag Plus and BoxyCharm Base will now be called BoxyCharm. It’s the same great membership and price — now all under the new BoxyCharm name and extra perks. BoxyCharm members (all previous Glam Bag Plus and BoxyCharm Base subscribers) will still get 5 full-size beauty products worth up to $200 personalized for them, and now they’ll get to choose 3 of their items! Plus, they’re guaranteed 2 Power Picks —superstar products or brands handpicked by our team of experts— in their 5-product assortment. By removing the drawstring Glam Bag Plus, we can invest in better beauty products.

First Impressions

Everything arrived packed neatly in the pink BoxyCharm by Ipsy box.

Now, on to the items!

Ciate LONDON Vitamin Boost Plumping Primer, 30 mL – Retail Value $28

This primer is wonderful because it is also hydrating! It doesn't leave me with that matte finish that I don't like, instead my skin is left glowing and smooth. My makeup goes on nicely and stays throughout the day no matter what I'm up to. A little goes a long way for me. This primer is filled with niacinamide, peptides, probiotics, and a hydrating moisture complex. While I didn't use to like using primer, I have learned that all it took was finding ultra hydrating blends like this one to really see the benefit in using a primer before makeup application!

JLO BEAUTY That Fresh Take Eye Cream, 15 mL - Retail Value $48

I'm going to be honest, I was really excited to try something from the JLo beauty brand. After testing it out for a few days, I can safely say that I would try more products from her line! This eye cream is really hydrating and has made my under eye area feel more smooth and bright. I also noticed that I'm not as puffy as I usually am when I wake up.

The description of this cream is also really unique: made with a blurring complex for masking dark circles, a patented peptide sequence to improve fine lines and wrinkles, and a sugar-derived matrix to tighten and lift at the surface. While I can't speak to the long-term impact of this eye cream, I am loving the overall look and feel of my eye area already!

DERMELECT Flawless Bakuchiol Treatment, 30 mL – Retail Value $59

This is a retinol alternative phyto creme. This comes from an herb that has long been used in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicines and has been found to work similarly to retinol, without the irritation and concern with sun exposure. It works to increase cell turnover and boost collagen production to help smooth fine lines and give you a brighter complexion over time. You can use this in both the AM and PM by applying a pearl size amount to your cheeks, forehead, chin, and neck.

I haven't used this long enough to see if it is changing my skin much, but I am excited to continue using it since I've found that my sensitive dry skin and retinol might not mix well. Has anyone had success with this product?

ELEMAN BEAUTY Dual Ended Liquid Lipstick & Lipgloss in Ibiza – Retail Value $18

I love a duo lipstick! The darker shade has a matte finish which you can wear as-is, or you can use the gloss side to add some shine and hydration. The gloss looks really great on its own if you want a more neutral shiny gloss. That is what is so great about these dual lipsticks, you can get so many uses out of them every day! And they are amazing for travel!

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Brow Genius Brow Serum, 3.5 mL – Retail Value $65

This serum is meant to help improve the overall texture of your brows and help them to grow in fuller. The formula is made with peptides, panthenol, Korean ginseng, biotin, and castor oil to nourish and and make your brows more manageable. My brows are really curly and hard to get to lay flat so I'm hoping that this serum will improve that over time. So far I've only used it a few times, but so far I am liking how soft it is making my brows. They are pretty full on their own so I hope it doesn't make them too full. Do you swear by a brow serum to improve your brow texture? Let me know in the comments!

by/Rosie Jane Rosie Travel Spray, 7.5 mL – Retail Value $28

This is a lovely perfume that I would gladly wear every day. It is very light with just enough scent without being in-your-face. The description says this scent feels like sleeping in your birthday suit: nude + translucent. It is layered with nude musk and sweet rose so it is light and feminine, almost like a spring rain. I really needed something that I could wear every day that wouldn't give me a headache from the smell, and this checks all of the boxes!

Verdict

This BoxyCharm Beauty Boost by Ipsy was full of items that I normally wouldn't purchase for myself. I was really excited to try the JLo eye cream and am thrilled with the results I'm seeing so far. The primer is another winner for me that I can use every day along with the dual lipstick that gives me so many lipstick options. The cream and brow serum are products that I can't tell just yet if I'm loving or not, but I'm excited to continue to try both of them.

Overall this month felt fresh and exciting compared to last month's assortment. I really appreciate the variety and the overall quality! It is a big win for me when I am excited to keep using all of the products in one month's assortment! Which products did you select this month?
