No spring nor summer beauty hath such grace as I have seen in one autumnal face - John Donne
While I absolutely adore summer, fall is definitely my favorite season, as I find it to be the most relaxing and beautiful. The smells, the colors, and the temperatures are all amazing, and though it also means the start of a new school year, it is the kickoff to an exciting holiday extravaganza! Bring on the pumpkin spice and Halloween decor - I am fully embracing this change in season!
Warm, gourmet, and spicy, are the adjectives that come to mind when exploring this month's Vellabox and I am completely here for it. I can think of nothing more relaxing than curling up on the couch, watching a Hallmark movie, all while enjoying the warm glow from a toxic-free, health-conscious candle. Are these candles a bit more pricy than big-box store brands? Yes, but I can tell you from a lot of experience that this 16 ounce size lasts me an entire month (when burning regularly), and our furnace filter has never been more clean. Not only are the scents amazing, but they also include a surprise gift and Spotify playlist, creating not just a box, but an entire experience.

In perfect accordance with fall colors, this month's candle was poured in a brown glass. With a simplistic, yet chic label, I knew at first glance I was going to love this candle. Hand poured using 100% soy wax, Scent & Sprout also uses phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. Using eco-friendly packaging, this company plants one tree with every purchase through their partnership with One Tree Planted. Featuring notes of fig, sea salt, caramelized sugar, brown sugar, dark musk, and amber, I am definitely feeling some sugary coffee cake vibes coming through and am craving me some dessert! Baking is definitely one of my favorite fall hobbies, and this warm scent is really inspiring me to whip out my Betty Crocker cookbook and get busy. The scent throw of this particular fragrance isn't enormous, but is definitely enough for a medium sized kitchen/dining area. My husband isn't a fan of super strong scents, so this is a perfect fit for our household. Honestly, Vellabox hit the nail on the head with this one, and I am finding myself constantly lighting it.
Like I mentioned above, Scent & Sprout create small-batch candles in the neighborhood of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Using soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks, I feel good about burning this type of candle in my home. With a fragrance like this one, you can bet I will be checking out their other products!

If you are an Old Spice fan, you will most definitely love this air freshener. With notes of warm mahogany, palo Santo, and woods, this really does smell similar to my husband's deodorant, and I'm a fan. I literally just vacuumed and cleaned out my car yesterday and realized I had no air fresheners left, so this came at the exact perfect time. Strong at first, this will light up an area in mere moments, and leave it smelling like woods and man. A perfect addition to an already great box!

Vellabox is definitely one of my favorite subscriptions of all time, and this month they hit it out of the park. With a warm, comforting flavor, they have depicted fall perfectly. Between the candle, free gift, and Spotify playlist, I find myself counting down the days for the next box to arrive. Because I utilize aromatherapy for anxiety, this truly is a life changer for me. I already can't wait to see what's in store for October!
Buxton found some deer droppings to roll in, so he received a nice refreshing bath. Once dry, the sleepy guy snuggled up on our poof and he too enjoyed the flicker of this month's "Autumn Nights" candle.
