Enchanted Crystal is a monthly subscription for crystals, hand-picked and uniquely curated to offer a truly enchanted crystal experience.

My Subscription Addiction received this box free for review. (Check out the editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This is a review for the $16.00 Crystal of the Month subscription.

First Impressions

How cute is the crystal-covered tape that wraps this sturdy box? Such a lovely presentation! The crystals were carefully packaged: they were nestled in several feet of packing paper and enclosed in bubble wrap. It’s not surprising, then, that they arrived in perfect condition.

I’m happy to see that Enchanted Crystal has continued using QR codes on the insert included in the box. There are three QR codes that take you to the Enchanted Crystal Library as well as links to welcome letters!

In the latest letter, Enchanted Crystal updates subscribers on the exciting changes that they continue to make. For instance, they’ve added more entries to their Crystal Library to which they also plan to add identifying photos. And if you’re on TikTok, check out their channel: @enchanted_crystal.

The other insert includes some information about this month’s featured gemstone: Tangerine Quartz. I love these inserts because they’re handy and the info that Enchanted Crystal chooses to share is always interesting. This month’s informational insert also has a QR code to the page for Tangerine Quartz in their Crystal Library.

The Crystals

Moroccan Quartz & Moss Agate (Bonus Crystals)

Each month, Enchanted Crystal includes a small collection of bonus crystals and stones. I look at these extras as an appetizer; a little taste to get you hungry for more! The bonus crystals I received this month were 3 pieces of Moss Agate and a piece of Moroccan Quartz.

Enchanted Crystal has sent me pieces of Moroccan Quartz in the past, but it’s so lovely to look at and to hold that I’m not bothered at all. Unfortunately, Enchanted Crystal doesn’t have a specific listing for Moroccan Quartz, but according to the Enchanted Crystal Library,

“Metaphysically, clear quartz is highly regarded for its amplifying and purifying properties. It is believed to enhance energy, clarity of thought, and spiritual connection. Clear quartz clusters are often used for energy cleansing, meditation, and enhancing the energies of other crystals.”

The three small round stones that I received are Moss Agate. Unfortunately, Moss Agate is also missing from the Enchanted Crystal’s Library, but some quick research shows that despite its name, Moss Agate is actually a member of the Chalcedony family. Metaphysically, it’s thought to ground us and bring us closer to mother Earth. It’s tied to the heart and root chakras and encourages a connection between our childhood and current selves.

Now, on to the main event!

Tangerine Quartz

The featured stone this month is Tangerine Quartz. My piece is a vibrant orange with a patch of clear crystals. I love the many crystal points that form this specimen; it has a lovely sparkle and definitely adds life to my space!

Tangerine Quartz gets its name from its resemblance to the tangerine fruit. The gorgeous orange color is caused by inclusions of Hematite and Iron within the Quartz Crystal.

According to the Crystal Library on Enchanted Crystal’s website, “Metaphysically, tangerine quartz is associated with creativity, joy, and self-expression. It is believed to activate and energize the sacral chakra, which governs our emotions, passion, and creativity. Tangerine quartz is said to inspire enthusiasm, boost confidence, and ignite a zest for life.”

The Verdict

Now we come to the downside of the July box: it’s literally identical to April’s. Right down to the bonus crystals I received. I’m not sure if there was some kind of mix up with Enchanted Crystal’s planning, but three months before an exact repeat isn’t what anyone wants.

Despite the July mix up, if you’re interested in crystals, the monthly box is a great place to start your collection. As for the value, considering the fact that shipping is included in the $16 cost, I feel that the subscription price is a very good deal.

I’m always excited to see what this box will contain and what beauty and knowledge lie within it!
