First Impressions

How cute is the crystal covered tape that wraps this sturdy box? Such a lovely presentation! The crystals were carefully packaged: they were nestled in several feet of white paper and enclosed in bubble wrap. It’s not surprising, then, that they arrived in perfect condition.
I’m so excited by the first insert included in the box: there’s a QR code that takes you to the Enchanted Crystal website! I’ve been begging for something like this for months so I’m thrilled to see it.
On the website, Enchanted Crystal details the (numerous) ways that they are environmentally friendly. They also have links to many crystals that they have available for sale, as well as information on them.
The other insert includes some information about this month’s featured gemstone: Hemimorphite. I love these inserts because they’re handy and the info that Enchanted Crystal chooses to share is always interesting.
The Crystals
Moroccan Quartz & Aqua Chalcedony (Bonus Crystals)

Each month, Enchanted Crystal includes a small collection of bonus crystals and stones. I look at these extras as an appetizer; a little taste to get you hungry for more!
The bonus crystals I received were 2 pieces of Aqua Chalcedony and a piece of Moroccan Quartz (very similar, if not identical to one of last month’s bonus crystals). I believe these bonus crystals are random, so occasionally there will be repeats. I’m not upset about a repeat of this stone because it’s such a cool-looking specimen!
Moroccan Quartz is a variety of clear quartz. According to the Healing Crystals Company, “It’s one of, if not the most, versatile stones to have occurred on Earth, and it has a myriad of properties and benefits that seem to solely serve humankind for the better.“ Clear Quartz is said to absorb and store energy until it’s ready to be released. It’s also believed to increase clairvoyance within the user while connecting them to the spirit world.
The two small round stones that I received are Aqua Chalcedony. Chalcedony is thought to align the mind, body and spirit. It prevents the spread of negative energy and vibrations by absorbing it. It’s also said to promote generosity, self-reflection and forgiveness.
These lovely stones are a great start! Now, on to the main event!
Hemimorphite

The featured stone this month is Hemimorphite. I’d never heard of Hemimorphite before but I’m utterly blown away by it. It’s incredibly fragile (and I was nicely warned of that on the label); small pieces of it crumbled away as I moved it for the photographs. But it’s genuinely the most gorgeous crystal I’ve ever held! It looks as though it’s composed of a million tiny crystal shards and each of those crystals picks up a different bit of light. Needless to say, the sparkle is stunning! I apologize for not being able to accurately show its beauty; I must have taken seventy photographs in my attempt!
According to the Enchanted Crystal website, “Metaphysically, hemimorphite is believed to have a soothing and uplifting energy. It is often associated with emotional healing, self-expression, and communication. Additionally, it is believed to have purifying and detoxifying properties, both energetically and physically, making it beneficial for cleansing the chakras.”
The Verdict
Whether you’re a believer in the metaphysical properties of stones and crystals, or just appreciate them for their natural beauty, they have a place in our life. The Moroccan Quartz piece is so pretty that I don’t mind that this is my third piece; they make a cool-looking set. And the Hemimorphite? Words fail to express its beauty!
If you’re interested in crystals, this box is a great place to start your collection. As for the value, considering the fact that shipping is included in the $16 cost, I feel that the subscription price is a very good deal. I compared my specimen to the ones for sale on the Enchanted Crystal site and, based on its size, I’m estimating its value to be somewhere between $50 and $90. That’s a fantastic deal!
I’m always excited to see what this box will contain and what beauty and knowledge lie within it! My only complaint is minor: the Enchanted Crystal website that the QR code sends us to has a library of crystals, but not enough of them are listed. Two of the three crystals included in this month’s box aren’t on the website; so I still had to go to several other sites to find info on them. Hopefully Enchanted Crystal will continue to expand their library as time goes on. Despite that small issue, I love this subscription and I’m excited to continue collecting gorgeous crystals!
