The teen-created subscription beTWEEN the Bookends has shared the spoilers for their September 2022 Tween Boxes!

BeTWEEN the Bookends offers three subscriptions for different ages:

• Read to Me: age 4+
• Early Readers: ages 6-8
• Tween Box: ages 9-13

So, what's in the Tween boxes for the month of September?

Tween September 2022 Boxes

Book of the month for Full and Mini boxes: THE RETAKE by Jen Calonita

Book of the month for gender neutral and just the books: STRONGER THAN THE SWORD by Drew Callander

Items will include:

• Fill in journal/ activity book (all boxes)
• Exclusive sticker pack (full, mini, gender neutral)
• String light clips (full)Scented locker sachet (full and mini)

Full boxes will include a total of 3 books and 9 items this month.

What Else to Know

Jillian, a 14 year old 9th grader and avid reader, created beTWEEN the Bookends to help keep kids interested in reading. She came up with the idea two years ago, when schools and libraries were closed (during the COVID-19 pandemic). Read our interview with Jillian here.

They offer three boxes for readers aged 5 to 13: beTween the Bookends (for tweens), Early Readers (ages 6-8) and the Read to Me Box for Kids (ages 5+). They offer Full, Mini, "Just the Stuff", "Just the Books" or Gender Neutral options for the first box, and a Full or Gender Neutral option for the Read to Me and Early Readers boxes.

The Cost: $50 month-to-month for Full-Size Tween boxes, $35 month-to-month for the Tween Mini, $42.50 for the month-to-month Tween Gender Neutral box and $22 month-to-month for Just the Books. Save with longer commitments.
