Included were helpful cards and a booklet with loads of details about the products this month from CBD-infused brand Prima. It looks like this is more of a body care sort of month, which I am very excited about.

How does beautiful packaging make me so happy? Just look at how lovely and special this is. Inside the happy little box is a large golden bottle of body oil. The first thing I noticed upon dispensing a few drops into my palms was the warm and comforting scent of cloves and citrus, with a hint of geranium. The oil felt moisturizing but light, and I loved how silky it made my legs. This oil is infused with 600 mg of CBD which is an ingredient I have always found to have anti-inflammatory powers on my skin, making it a great post-shave choice. This oil has become one of my favorite before-bed rituals.

Literally, every job and hobby I have requires heavy usage of my hands. I am an esthetician, nail tech, copywriter, painter, sculptor, knitter, and jewelry maker, and the list keeps on going. My hands are frequently sore and look pretty beaten up and dry. I have tried a few different hand creams to tackle the dryness and many of them work really well. But what I really need is one that soothes aches and pains. This cream does it so well! Maybe it is all in my head (I don't think so though!) but the combination of CBD, moisturizers, and menthol makes my skin soft and eases my sore joints. Another bonus? It absorbs easily, without any pilling or greasiness. I will be repurchasing this one!

I am blessed to really not have trouble falling asleep. If I am horizontal long enough, I am out like a light! Staying asleep though? Well, there I struggle. I have often found myself wide away around 4 AM for literally no reason at all. And it can be difficult to get back to dreamland. I can't really speak to the power of these sleep supplements to ease my mind into sleep, but I can speak to the assistance they provide in STAYING asleep. When I take just one of these (the normal dosage is 2) I find myself sleeping through my normal awkward waking hours and instead opening my eyes to my scheduled alarm. I haven't noticed any grogginess either, which is a huge plus. I am guessing that is because this is melatonin-free and sometimes that ingredient gives me weird dreams and grogginess. Instead, this formula is powered by lavender, magnesium, and chamomile.
Verdict
I loved this month's Beauty Heroes curation. Sure, it wasn't skincare, but it's nice that this subscription takes a detour into body and wellness ever so often. And I happen to love the products this time around! The value sits at $142, which is a good value for a $58.95 box. I think subscribers are going to be thrilled!
