ShoeDazzle Plus: June 2022 Review

Kieya Chunky Sneaker in Pink Prism, Size 9.5 — Retail Value $64.95

There was a huge 50% off everything sale on the ShoeDazzle site, so I had to take advantage of it! I was torn between getting these sneakers in the pink style or the white with Pride sole details. I eventually selected the pink since I have been gravitating to all things pink, including hair, these days! These reminded me of the Adidas x Yeezy collaboration in terms of the shape and design. The fit on these are interesting. Due to there being so much of the foam like sole, especially in the back on the heel. They are comfortable to wear. I wore them on an evening walk, but haven't tried them out for any intense workouts yet. I paired these kicks with a dress from an upcoming Dia & Co review and cutesy pink troll earrings from I'm Your Present.

Elsa Fuzzy Slipper in Sharp Green, Size XL — Retail Value $29.95

Continuing on with the fun shoe experiments this month, I simply couldn't resist these slippers. The bright green was calling to me! They make me think of Muppets like Oscar the Grouch, so of course I had to give them a whirl, especially when on such a deep discount for subscribers. I tend to avoid flip flops due to the toe thong. I hate having things between my toes, but I simply couldn't resist. I would love these so much more if they had just were sandal slides, but honestly the more I wear them the less I hate the toe thong. I wear these walking around my house and not out and about, so I am not walking in these in excess. I opted to style these with matching flower power earrings from The Holly Hocks Jewellery shop—too wild how much they perfectly matched the slippers; as well as a cute gingham dress from one of my upcoming Stitch Fix reviews!

Verdict

This month 's finds from ShoeDazzle were so fun and unique! Sadly, I wasn't able to find any plus size clothing pieces to review for yinz! The already small plus size section that ShoeDazzle offers has managed to shrink even more. It is incredibly frustrating, but if you have been reading my reviews for some time, this is sadly not a new development. If you are new to my reviews, I have had a very tumultuous relationship with ShoeDazzle. The one thing that has me returning to them is their awesome and frequent sales. The sales and the point accrual system keeps me checking each month with my fingers crossed in hopes of a miraculously larger selection for their plus size subscribers. It is very disappointing, but I continue to hold out hope that they will expand their options for us bodacious babes. I know it is probably a pipe dream, but if they do I hope they offer pieces in 4x-6x as well. I strongly believe all bodies are good bodies and babes of all sizes deserve clothing options that fit them and make them feel beauitufl. I loved my shoes this month, but here's to hoping next month is even more successful! Fingers crossed! Are you eager to see what I get from ShoeDazzle next month?

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, both pairs of shoes shown in this review are available on the site in the colors shown and others as of publication.

Value Breakdown: The shoes I selected this month have a combined retail value of $94.90, but ShoeDazzle had a 50% off sale when I bought them. As a VIP member I scored these cuties  at the nice price of $29.95 before shipping and handling! Pretty phenomenal if you ask me!
