Hey jewelry lovers, I'm back with this month's Rocksbox review! This time I got more Kendra Scott and my bunny rabbit totally judged me for it.

I don't learn my lesson, do I?

Rocksbox is a jewelry styling and rental service. Members pay a flat rate every month to get unlimited access to the Rocksbox collection and the option to buy whatever they love at a discounted price. Each month, Rocksbox will curate sets of three pieces to send your way, including at least one piece from your ever-growing wishlist. Members can keep and wear the three pieces they receive for as long as they want, or they can switch out sets whenever they'd like. Rocksbox also offers a monthly credit so you can buy the pieces for less.

This is a review of the monthly plan for $21, which includes shipping to the US only.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Just like other subscription boxes, when I signed up for Rocksbox I had to set up a style profile that asked me questions like my metal preference, and which necklace, earring, bracelet, and ring styles I liked the most.

Let's check out this month's delivery!

What I Received

COCOACENTRIC Etcho Earrings - Retail Value $88, Member Price $84

About this item: The Etcho Earrings by COCOACENTRIC remind me of a pair a woman would've worn in the Roaring 20s. Crafted in 14K gold plating over brass, these artistic, lightweight earrings were designed using stacks of high-polish, curved gold bars. They are 1.18" in length and feature a post closure.

Condition: Great.

Review: This is the second pair of earrings I've received by COCOACENTRIC, and I am in love! I wore them so much, I almost forgot they weren't mine. Even with the $21 Shine Credit and the Rocksbox discount, I couldn't justify the purchase today, but I will be renting more of this designer's items. They're really well made and unique.

Kendra Scott Uma Cuff - Member Price $60

About this item: Kendra Scott's Uma Cuff is a versatile, adjustable 14K gold plated bracelet that uses metal threads to create a classic filigree design. It's lightweight and the width goes from slimmer to thicker with a 2.4" outer diameter.

Condition: Great.

Review: It's a pretty, lightweight and delicate bracelet that looks like it has an eastern influence with its artful, filigree design. I like that it's adjustable too, but I still sent it back.

David Aubrey Chrysalis Black & Gold Earrings - Retail Value $75, Member Price $72

About this item: If these earrings look familiar, it's because I rented the necklace a few months ago. These black and gold statement dangles are crafted of high polish, 18k gold-plated brass and the three triangular drops hold three rectangular black stones with gold linear columns. Each earring is 2 7/8" long.

Condition: Great.

Review: These earrings are stunning and incredibly unique, but they're also as heavy as a brick. If only there were a way to lighten them up and then I'd actually consider a purchase, but I'm too afraid to tear my earlobes.

Final Thoughts

The Verdict: I love the COCOACENTRIC earrings, wish the David Aubrey dangles were lighter, and I'm still underwhelmed by Kendra Scott. Better luck next month! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.

Sun's out, bunny buns out.

Value Breakdown: Rocksbox membership costs $21 per month. At retail, the three pieces would cost me $265. With my Rocksbox discounts and the member pricing including the buy-all-three-items discount, the $21 of Shine Credit (the membership fee for the month, which goes towards your purchases), and the $10 buy-all-three discount, that price drops to $185.

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on the customer's tastes and what's available at the time. You can, however, help guide the Rocksbox stylists and add your favorite pieces to your wishlist!

If shopping were an Olympic sport, I’d be a gold medalist. And while my bank account often feels the crunch, I just can’t stop buying secondhand clothing and accessories, under-the-radar designer goods, stuffed animal unicorns (I have about 75), and toys for my pet bunny rabbit. After 20 years of city slicking in NYC and DC, I now have a car and love to tour the Virginia countryside looking for vintage shops, undiscovered wineries and breweries, historic sites, and Thai restaurants—I’m addicted to Thai food. I never leave home without a spare phone charger because I love horror movies and therefore have an irrational fear of being stranded somewhere with a dead battery.

Mr. Hoppy Golightly hates the camera, but that’s just too bad. Everyone loves him so he has to deal with being a cute little fluff ball.

Super review, love your style! This part cracked me up: “I wore them so much, I almost forgot they weren’t mine. That’s something I would do.
