Along with my beauty items, I received an info card that details what items are in the box. I also received a card detailing what the next couple months after will bring! This month's theme is "Festival SZN Care Package"! Do any of you have festival trips planned this year? I don't as of yet, but just because I don't have a festival to go to, doesn't mean I can't look the part this summer!

Kicking off our May month with a 12-in-1 daily leave in hair mask. I was curious upon seeing this item on whether or not it would work on my coily hair, and if it would really be a product that I could use daily. I was pleasantly impressed by how well my hair took to this product. With ingredients like shea butter, monoi oil, argan oil, among others, this mask promises to add shine to hair, hydrate and nourish, control frizz, and repair damage. Yes, the mask smells as good as it sounds with the above ingredients! It is oil based, but not heavy. I placed this product on my scalp and a little throughout my hair down to my ends. The shine was immediately noticeable. I will absolutely continue to use this product as I see why it's one of Foxybae's best sellers!
Jelly Pong Pong Bare Necessities Highlighting Pencil– Retail Value $17.95

Up next is a different spin on the usual highlighter as it comes in a pencil form. I've never used a highlighter pencil before, but I'm obsessed. It's so much easier than using a powder! This pencil is multi-purposeful and can be used on the cheekbones, forehead, waterline or as a base for your eyeshadow.

The swatch of the highlighter looks pretty bold, but it gives such a subtle glow to skin. It also is great to take with you on the go for the quick touch ups. I only used it on my cheek in this photo, but I am going to try it on my waterline next!

I love a good lightly tinted lip balm, and this one is a new fave! This blush lippie provides the moisture that our lips need with adding just a tiny hint of color, making it a good balm for any time of day or occasion.

As you can see, the swatch is really light, almost unnoticeable. However, on my lips, it offers a soft pink hue.

Talk about a fun color to wear to a festival! I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical of how this color would look on me as it looks really bold upon opening. But the liquid shadow actually provides a nice rich shimmery balanced color!

Medusa's Eye Dust (Rising Sun), 1.5 g – Retail Value $9.00

Our last item in this month's Festival SZN box is a bright gold shimmery eye dust. Gold is my go-to color for all things eye shadow, so of course I was ecstatic to receive more! I love Medusa's eye dust because the powder is fine and light on my eyes. The product is buildable so you can be as subtle with the shadow or as bold as you want!

I decided to go for a more subtle look with this photo, but I'm looking forward to trying out a bolder, more glamorous look!
Verdict
Medusa's Makeup knocked it out the park with this Festival SZN box! All items were very on theme. I was so surprised by how well my hair took to the mask. It smells divine and soothed my dry scalp. It also made my hair shine, in a beautiful way, not greasy. I also am living for this highlighter pencil. The pencil form is so convenient and I love the subtle glow it gives to my cheeks. Medusa has been bringing all the heat this year!
