March 2022: "Box-Full of Happiness"

Who else is happy that the sun is shining brighter and for longer these days?! My complete mood has changed as I crawl out of this winter slump and into warmer weather! I can't wait to see what products are in store this month as we enter into a new season. Every Rose War Panty Power box includes a card that lists the randomized lifestyle gifts a subscriber may receive.

Organyc Tampons and SISOLE Organic Pads (15 ct) Listed Value $9.00

Every month you will receive 15 assorted size period products based on your selection. I'm back to receiving both tampons and pads! I'm still in awe that there is a subscription box that includes menstrual products (one can also opt out of period products if going through menopause). I haven't had to shop for menstrual products in months! Both the tampons and pads are incredibly absorbent, which puts my anxiety about leaks to rest. They're also organic, so no questionable ingredients.

Two Pairs of Undies - Listed Value $8.00-$25.00

In addition to the monthly period products, you will receive two pairs of underwear each month. This month I received a lace thong and a cotton full coverage pair of underwear.

The first pair of underwear received are a cotton spandex pair by Youmita.  I've received this brand in the RWPP box before and was happy to try another pair from them. The undies kind of feel like Spanx (but more comfortable in the midsection).

My next pair is a lacy black thong, also by Youmita. I dig the classic colors received this month! While thongs aren't really considered comfortable, this thong is about as comfortable as it gets. Additionally, it looks really flattering on.

Plant Juice Go With The Flow, 10 ml– Retail Value $26.00

This is probably the only time ever I've wanted to be on my cycle so that I could really test something out. This product is infused with CBD oil and is said to naturally cure menstrual cramps. The roll-on contains other natural ingredients such as sage, tarragon, and ylang ylang. The scent is pretty bold. Not a bad bold, just really strong. However, when I'm cramping, I doubt I'll even be thinking of the fragrance. Looking forward to see if this really helps with my menstrual cramps. Will be back with an update!

Adama Minerals Ancient Clay Body Scrub, 4 oz – Retail Value $15.00

Let me start off by saying yes, yes, YES to this phenomenal body scrub! The smell of vanilla coconut- phenomenal. The consistency- amazing. The softness of my skin after use- incredible. This was my first time using a clay body scrub, and I'm in love with it. This scrub is made with ingredients to exfoliate, stimulate collagen production, and to allow proper circulation to have your skin looking its best. My feet is a place where a lot of dead skin accumulates, and this scrub removed the dead skin and left my feet feeling amazingly soft.

Adama Minerals Mineral Moisture Daily Lotion, 8 fl oz – Retail Value $20.00

Ending this month's box with another beautifully scented product by Adama Minerals, which also left the skin soft and moisturized. This lotion is for daily use and is in the scent pink grapefruit. It REALLY smells like a grapefruit, which I absolutely love. This lotion is made with botanical herbs, enriching minerals, and hydrating shea butter. I used this after washing with the clay scrub and was a tad nervous that fragrances might clash, but it didn't! The coconut went really well with the grapefruit.

And now for some freebies...

Snacks

And now for my favorite part of this subscription box – the candy! Look at that chocolate brownie cookie 🙂

Wet Wipes

I also received two wet wipes from Stall Mates. These flushable, hypoallergenic wipes are convenient for when you're out and about and need a quick refresh.

Verdict

"Box-full of Happiness"was a perfect theme for this month's Rose War Panty Power as each item made me happy! I can't wait to use the cramp roller next week. The older I get, the worst my PMS gets, so hopefully the roller will help with that. Adama Minerals showed up with the bath and skincare products. The scrub and lotion smelled and made me feel so good!

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? No, order today to receive the April RWPP box.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $37.50 and I estimate that I received over $100 in value (including the underwear and period products). Previous month boxes have held more value, but I still think this is a steal for the items received.

I feel like this box did me dirty. I signed up with a promo code through MSA. I admit that I got an introductory box at an amazing price; however, the items I received, other than the panties themselves, were just not right for me. (I’m not talking about period products because I requested not to get any of those.) Anyway, it just so happened that the card I used expired at the end of February, so I thought that was the end of it. They contacted me a couple times asking me to update my billing information, which I never did. however, I did activate my new card when it came, and somehow RWPP managed to bill me!!!! Now I am out $37.50 for a box I don’t want! How can they bill me when I didn’t give them my updated expiration date and CVC code on the back of my card?!?! Not. Happy.

Update: I couldn’t figure out how to cancel on the website (it wasn’t clear from my phone), so I emailed them, and they canceled for me. It looks like I’m going to get the March box, but I already got the grapefruit lotion in my first box. 🙁
If you look at their Facebook page, they have some cool looking earrings from Australia listed as coming in the April box. I would actually like to get those earrings. Might have to resubscribe. Lol!!!
